the staff is VERY nice and welcoming! my son had 7 cavities. we were able to get his right side all done today and go back in a couple weeks to do the other side. dr. jarod was awesome about making sure he was as comfortable as possible. also made sure to tell him everything he was going to do right before he did it so my son wasnt questioning anything. he was given laughing gas and that seemed to help his anxiety a lot. he watched a movie and seemed to be pretty relaxed during the process, so he didnt need to stop and give him anything extra to help make him anymore comfortable than he already was. I was able to sit right next to him during the whole thing. he is 6 years old, when I was his age I had a terrible experience with getting dental work done to remove cavities so it was such a relief that he loved it there! as we were leaving he asked if thats where he could go to get his teeth worked on and cleaned from now on! Im VERY happy with the results from his visit. thank you to everyone at arctic dental for making our visit a great one! :)

Lets just be honest, this is a pediatric dentist. Pediatric meaning children... why would you become a childs dentist if you are completely incapable of coping with a scared and hurting child. Dr. Jarod Johnson, while extracting my 5 year old daughters tooth, grab her by the head so aggressively and screamed at her to stop her crying and moving... in sorry but that was beyond uncalled for and completely unprofessional and displayed a disgusting incompetence within this man. I am so beyond upset when he yelled he scared my daughter more than she had been before. Shame on you. I refuse to use this dentist ever again and all of my friends and family that have attended artic dentistry will be transferring service to another dental office. This man should not be allowed to practice on children. I am mortified that my daughter had to experience such ignorance and hate today accompanied by her severe tooth pain. Im beyond disgusted.

This dentist... wow where do I start? we was referred here by our local dentist and its been such a great blessing all in God timing. my 5year old needing over 8 things done, needed put to sleep to get it all at once.. ended up in pain two weeks before surgery. I took him into the clinic doctor said he could pull it and my son wouldnt even know. I must say I thought "yeah right" well sure enough my son had know idea his tooth got pulled. later that month he got put the sleep and got everything else done and he enjoys seeing the doctor. Few short weeks later my 9year old son fell on a shopping cart and broke off his adult front teeth... Doctor made time THAT DAY! to see him and get him fixed up... he now has two front teeth again and looks amazing! Absolutely love this place!

Dr. Jarod Johnson and his entire staff go above and beyond to show they really do care about all of their patients. They make sure everything they are going to do is explained to the detail and that you understand it all. This is the first dental office that my kids and I have been to where not only does the assistance sit and make sure your child is ok after a procedure but as well as Dr. Jarod. Dr. Jarod was quick to notice how worried I was during my childs recent visit and made sure I understood what was going on and why he was monitoring everything. Him and his assist sat in the room with my daughter in I for several hours until she was able to respond to us and walk out of the room. Highly recommended for childern who fear the denisits.

Took my son to Artic Dental as we were referred there by my sons other dentist to have teeth removed. The doctor got upset because we only wanted him to remove the teeth, and told him we already had the other work my son needed set up with his normal dentist. After that Dr Jarod refused to do any service. He said it didnt make sense to him to do anything if we were going to take my son somewhere else for the other work. He was very condescending when we asked questions as to why he wouldnt just pull the teeth and didnt seem to have a problem losing a patient. For a doctor that was so concerned about my son being in pain with his bad teeth he had no problem making him wait longer to see another specialist.

My kids love going to the dentist since switching to Arctic. Dr. Jarod is very informative and proactive with all of their care. The staff are very friendly and great with kids. The office is definitely kid friendly and colorful. I started taking my three youngest there last year after I had heard about them being new in town. We used to drive 40 minutes just to see a pediatric dentist because we werent satisfied with the very few in town. My 11 year old has gone with us to her sisters appointments and begged me to switch her to Arctic, so I did. Thank you Dr. Jarod and staff! We are happy to have a GREAT pediatric dentist close to home!

Article Dental in Mucatine is a great place for the kids. Extremely kid friendly. The dentist is great with the kids and so are the assistants. They work to make the visits as least of a fincial burden as they can too. My kids are actually excited to go to the dentist ever since weve started going here. I cannot say enough good things about them. As a mother of 3 little ones I highly recommend! Thanks Article Dental for everything you guys do for these kiddos!

Everyone at Arctic Dental was great with my son. My son has autism and the team here went above and beyond to make him feel like he was in a safe environment. Its usually a battle in dentist and even doctors offices to get him to allow them to look him over. Thank you Artic Dental and Dr. Jarod for making my son feel safe to allow you guys to treat him. You guys are AWESOME!!!!

Dr. Jarod was nice at first but when my child got scared and upset about getting a procedure done, his behavior quickly changed. He became impatient and rude. The office staff were friendly and the office was clean but this dentist would be better off taking patients 10 years and older for he has no patience or empathy for smaller children.

We have been to several pediatric dentist for my son and this is the first place he felt comfortable to even open his mouth. Everyone was so kind and kid friendly. Even after a 4 hr drive for the visit I will definitely return for the great service. Thank you to the staff for the great service provided :)

I was told by 3 different dentists I needed a root canal. I get there and he says I dont and to listen to him because hes a specialist. I now have to go to Chicago now (just a few months later) to get a root canal done on the same, now crowned, tooth. Thanks for making me endure even more pain.

The dentist & assistants are all wonderful & polite. They really go above & beyond to not only make the child feel comfortable but the parents feel comfortable too. They all make sure you know exactly what is going on from the beginning of the appointment til the very end..
