Dr Heide was great and office staff also great, the sales/frames lady not so much. I just had my eyes dilated so was having some trouble seeing. She took me straight to the Oakley frames and I had a hard time telling them apart so she basically picked them for me (turns out they are nice) she never mentioned price or told me any prices at all until she was done entering order and it was time to pay. This is my first time ever getting glasses so I had no idea what prices were so figured that was just standard, after talking to coworkers who have gone there, I paid at least twice what they did and some of them paid nothing with our insurance policy. I also asked about prescription safety Glasses and she tried to show me what my policy covered on her computer, I explained again that I had just been dilated and couldnt see the words on the screen at which point instead of explaining it to me she offered to print it for me, again I told her I couldnt really read because of dilation. She then told me I could just get a copy of policy later and read it. She was very unprofessional. I received my glasses about a week later and was treated great by Rebecca (not the same lady as before) she was very helpful, I asked her about the safety glasses and she took the time to show me the glasses and let me know they may be able to order some other ones that I was wanting. She also took the time to look up my policy and wrote done what the cost would be for a few different kinds (not just the expensive ). She was very professional. I noticed an issue with one of the lenses when I got home that evening and I brought them back in. Seen Rebecca again and she was very helpful again, she immediately called the lab and asked if it would be ok if she sent them back to lab for them to be fixed. Which im still waiting for.Rebecca and Dr Heide both deserve 5 stars. That other lady that I delt with is the reason for the low rating and my reservations about referring people to wichita optometry, I myself am not sure if I will return unless I only see Dr Heide and Rebecca.

This was my first experience with Wichita Optometry after changing insurance. My experience with my last optometrist was not very good and made me dread dealing with my eye issues. I was very surprised when going to Wichita optometry at how nice and helpful the staff were. I just had a general good feeling with the way they explained things. Dr Heidi is who I saw and he was outstanding, he really helped me understand the issues I was experiencing and how we could work towards solving them and my eye care long term. I have a very high prescription and Dr Heidi made me feel like I had a whole world of options when my last optometrist made me feel like Id have to settle with what he could find. Dr Heidi told me why I was having comfort issues with contacts and prescribed me some eye drops to help. He even called and took care of things with the pharmacy and my insurance when there was an issue on that end and calling to keep me updated. He even called me back the next day to check on how the drops felt and if I had any discomfort. We also had a very nice lady in the sales area named Theresa who helped me pick out some killer glasses and helped me find the best options for me! I cant wait to pick them up when they get here! Wichita Optometry will receive my business for many years to come after this experience and I cant thank Dr Heidi and the staff enough for all of there help in making me comfortable.

My experience at Wichita Optometry was thorough, professional and enjoyable. The receptionist Nadia was welcoming and friendly considering I was a couple of minutes late due to my own confusion of which office location my appointment was at. Both offices were accommodating and flexible, nonetheless. I waited only a few short minutes in the lobby and was promptly seen. Katy my pre-tester was thorough, helpful and organized. After pre-testing I waited only a few short minutes to see Dr. Fleming. Dr. Fleming was extremely personable, he was professional during the examination and with his review of my testing. He answered some questions I had and anticipated my eye care needs by taking into account my everyday eye troubles. Considering my vision difficulties as the years progress, I found that his proactive approach and concern was most impressionable. I was then directed to Kay who helped in my decision with frames and who ordered my glasses. The office staff were extremely helpful in pulling all of my benefit/coverage information. I was overall impressed, satisfied and I would recommend Wichita Optometry for anyone seeking an eye care office. Thank you for the lovely experience!

I have been a patient of Dr Yarrow for many, many years. Ive always felt that my eye exams have been very thorough and Dr Yarrow has been great at providing professional guidance with regards to LASIK and cataract surgery. Ive recently had my second cataract surgery and Dr Yarrow has completed the follow up exam/refraction. Ive been having a little trouble with the glasses and or prescription I received following this last procedure, but Dr Yarrow and the dispensary staff are currently working to make things better and meet my expectations. I have no doubt that things will work out well. Ive recommended this office to many friends and family and to my knowledge all have been satisfied. I did read other reviews posted and I will say that I have occasionally encountered some of the office staff who were not always the greatest at customer service. This seems to be transient and those staff members are usually gone by the next visit. I go the optometrist for their expertise and experience. Dr Yarrow meets or exceeds my expectations and the ancillary staff are typically very good as well.

This office was recommended to me by a family member. I have been very pleased with the care I have received from Dr. Blasi and her staff. She is very friendly, professional, easy to talk to, and has never seemed rushed during my exam/visit. My glasses have all worked well and I feel my vision is very good with each new script I have received. The office has been able to get me in to see Dr. Blasi in a timely manner when I have called for an appointment. My only complaint is that on a few occasions the front office staff has not been very friendly or welcoming. I will continue to see Dr. Blasi for my future eye care and would recommend her and this office to my family and friends.

I have been a patient of Dr. Yarrow for over 10 years. He and ALL of his staff have been very kind, courteous, informed, professional and helpful. I recommend them without reservation. The only trouble I have had, has been with Duffin Optical, who was a service provider they used until Duffin when out of business. Also, there was considerable confusion a few years ago when W.O. P.A. switched computer systems. No small wonder. In addition, If you have vision insurance, make sure you understand the plan. If you dont have insurance, be sure to let W.O. P.A. know up front and ask for an estimate.
