I cannot say enough about Dr Palmer and all the crew at Smile Design...my relationship started a couple years ago with broken chipped front teeth...Dr. Palmer had me and his assistant come in before office hours unscheduled on a cold winter morning the next day to take care of this !...I had never met Dr Palmer before nor had I ever been in his office...for him to come in an hour early just for me with no appointment, calling his assistant in early also was way above and beyond the call of duty and I will never forget it...he literally "sculpted" the front teeth chair side with an artistic hand and they never looked better...and with a few more visits my smile has never looked better...from the first hello greeting when you come through the front door to the "have a good day" when you leave it is an entirely painless visit, (root canals) included !...his talented and pleasant team of professionals are the best and will take good care of you...for the first time in my life I have to say I really, really enjoy going to the Dentist LOL...who would have thought !!!

I have been a patient at Smile Design Ellsworth for about three years. I first went to Dr Palmer and his staff after having two implants placed. My dentist at the time did not place crowns on implants. I met with Dr Palmer in regards to the implant crowns as well as obtaining information for preventative work. I immediately made the switch to Smile Design Ellsworth. Since becoming a patient of Dr Palmers, I have gone through extensive work. I have had several crowns and veneers placed on my teeth. Dr Palmer has begun doing implants and I had him place one for me. Dr Palmer has a gentle approach and demeanor while working on me and has not hurt me once. Dr Palmer cares about my comfort and asks me several times during the various procedures if I am okay and to let him know if I am feeling any discomfort. I have recommended Dr Palmer to friends and will continue to do so. If you are looking for a new dentist check out Dr Palmer and the staff of Smile Design Ellsworth.

I did not have the best dental care growing up and did not have the best experiences with dentists. I have to say that Dr. Palmer, Terra, Liza and the rest of the crew are the best when it comes to patient care and all are well aware of my anxiety. I used to have to take medication before my appointments in order to relax. Dr. Palmer truly cares about the wellbeing of his patients and wants to make sure your appointment is painless and as stress free as possible. I am happy to say that I no longer need medication before my appointments. I recommend this office to anyone looking for a new dentist or if anyone is new to the area. This past weeks appointment was so fun as the office was celebrating Hawaiian week with Hawaiian decorations, music playing in the background and Elvis Presley on the TV. This totally changed the atmosphere of the office. Everyone was so fun. I cant wait to see what they come up with next! Thanks for making going to the dentist so enjoyable!!

Amy is the greatest and very personable. Even though we dont socialize outside of the office, shes a friend to me and I appreciate her. Shes also kind, genuine, explains everything in lay language, and knows her stuff. Although I know that shes busy, Amy makes me feel like Im the only patient in the world and her mind is solely on me and my teeth when Im with her. She also has wonderful memories of Peter and we share our grief over his death. Dr. Palmer is friendly and relies on Amy because of her examination of my teeth and gums. I like that about him. Shes a co-worker in his eyes. Thanks for the great care and concern. 17 September 2015 I saw Amy on 10 September and all I can say is that shes the best dental assistant in the Universe. Amy checked the results of the antibiotic she placed in my back right lower molar. She looked at my other teeth as well and didnt charge me for the visit. Thanks, Amy! Cheers, Kathy

I had stopped going to the dentist all together after my childhood dentist retired. While I took good care of my teeth, I suffered with a crooked smile for years and was always self conscious about it. After being told about Dr. Palmer, Invisalign, and the great work everyone does at Smile Design Ellsworth, I decided it might be worth it to go in, get my teeth checked out, and see if maybe I could do something about my smile. Well, its only six months later and I have a bright, beautiful smile and I actually look forward to my regular checkups. From the receptionist to the dental techs and certainly Dr. Palmer, Smile Design has one of the best teams assembled Ive seen. Taking a chance on this has turned out to be one of the best choices Ive made, and I can wholeheartedly encourage anyone on the fence to give them a try - you wont be sorry.

My family and I have been patents of Dr. Palmer for at least 6 years now. He has the gentlest touch of any dentist I have ever known. No one likes the Novocaine needle, yet his technique for giving the injection has resulted in the least uncomfortable dental visits that i have ever experienced. I lost a front tooth a couple of years ago and he made me a partial that has been absolutely beautiful and very comfortable, I think the material was called valplast. I cant say enough about this dental office, the staff is friendly, helpful and I feel they are genuine in their care for me and my family. My grandchild saw Dr Palmer last month for her first cavity and she fell asleep when he was working on her, now thats one relaxed kid. She has been with the office since her very first cleaning and the hygienist is terrific with kids.

I cant say enough good things about Smile Design Ellsworth, but let me try! The level of customer service is superb. The office staff is warm, welcoming, and collaborative; the providers are super informative, talkative, and they go above and beyond to make you feel at ease in the dentist chair. Dr. Palmer explains everything in absolute detail, is gentle (no pain AT ALL), and is super friendly. The facility itself is top notch, with all of the newest equipment and technology and is tastefully decorated to offer a warm and welcoming setting to patients of all ages and those that may be a little jittery, like myself. If you are looking for a professional, caring, and smiling dentist office, this is the place for you and your family.

Ive been with Smile Design since they opened in 2011. They are always happy and friendly while maintaining professionalism. The work I have received is exceptional and they are eager to keep me on track with my dental plan. It is hard to find a dental office that is as tight knit and comforting as the Smile Design team. My daughter had her first cleaning by Eliza and has since loved coming to visit her. She had two fillings by Dr. Palmer during which she fell asleep because she was so relaxed. Looking forward to a long relationship with them :)
