I am going to start with the positive. Dr. Mahoney is absolutely wonderful! He provides you with more than enough information to understand what the exact issue is, and how he plans to help you. He is easy to talk to and extremely personable. His assistant Sarah is equally as educated and eager to make sure you are feeling at your best and that all issues and concerns have been addressed. I loved the wellness atmosphere. That being said, DO NOT get a massage here. The therapist is very unprofessional and she cut my session short by 20 minutes. She brought up tipping, a big no no. I am in the spa industry and one thing I can say is I felt completely uncomfortable. She didnt bother to introduce herself, the consultation was poor, she talked about her personal life when all I wanted to do was relax, and the massage its self was less than mediocre. Due to the experience alone, I walked out of that massage room feeling worse than when I came in. I wish I could find a positive to say, I really do. Please dont let my experience with the massage therapist prevent you from seeing Dr. Mahoney. As I stated above, he is nothing short of wonderful.

Atlas has improved my quality of life so much! I went from suffering from migraines and cluster headaches every day for almost a year to only having a migraine every now and then - just a handful since last March! The staff is great, and I highly recommend Stephanie, the massage therapist. The adjustments and massages have been top notch. Dr. Mahoney and Dr. Tyler are really nice and have decreased my pain unbelievably. Ive been back every week since that first appointment in March and I will continue to go as often as I can. If Towson isnt convenient, they also have a location in Columbia. I highly recommend Atlas to anyone who has fibromyalgia, migraines or any kind of chronic pain.

I bought a Groupon deal with free spinal adjustment for this place. I went there this morning and met Dr. Mahoney. He is very pleasant to talk to, very friendly and knows what he is doing. I hardly spend 5-10 minutes max with him as it was free spinal adjustment so may be it was the shortest he can offer but he was really good and quick in his work. I will definitely recommend him to get started. His staff is equally friendly and helpful. I I have to go back this is the place to go :)

I went here a few years ago for some preventative care. Dr Mahoney and his staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and my experience there couldnt have been better. Along with chiropratic care, Dr Mahoney has some seminars on healthier eating and living, which are all very helpful. Id recommend Dr Mahoney for everyone, either someone needing back or neck care, or someone just looking for preventative care to keep everything in order.

This is the best chiropractor that I have ever been to. He is very knowledgeable about your anatomy so if you are having any type of problem let him know and he can fix that too. The offfice staff is very helpful also. The massage therapist is the is no words to describe how he made me feel I didnt want to leave. Overall this office is the place to be. If you are looking for a good chiropractor look no further.

Steve Mahoney is a very talented chiropractor. His easygoing nature makes adjustments stress free (for those who are a little apprehensive about chiropractic adjustments) and the stretching regimen that he prescribes prior to your adjustment each time makes everything go smoothly. Be prepared to wait. I showed up 10 minutes before my consultation. Filled out my paperwork in 5 minutes. After a half hour of waiting and no acknowledgment I was there I decided to leave. I know these places are busy but some sort of customer service would be welcomed.
