Dr Cassie is absolutely incredible! Im a mom who is constantly lugging around kids and all the junk that comes with them... including the stresses of chasing toddlers. From crazy back pain to unbearable tension headaches... she has worked with me to calm my muscles, realign my spine, and make me feel human again. Coming in for a visit is more like a spa treatment than a medical visit. From the moment I walk in the office, I feel like family. Annette greats me with a warm and welcoming smile, helps get me checked in, and sends me on my way. I go lay on the water massage bed for a soothing 12 minutes (which feels like a mini vacation) and then move on to get hooked up to a TENS unit (electric pulse massage). I sit in a massage recliner for 10-20 minutes (because, theres no need to rush home) and then make my way in to see the doc. Most of these steps are optional... and many are skipped with I have kids with me... so you can personalize your visit. (There is also an area with toys where kids can quietly play. They clean daily.) Dr Cassie takes time to get to know her patients and learn how to best treat them. If you need some extra post-visit support, she will tape you up with KT tape! She also does dry needling. I suggest you google this things if you are skeptical... and if you still arent sure, give them a try and you will soon be swearing by them! After your treatment, you float back up front, settle up, and book your next appointment. Dont forget to grab an apple off the front desk on your way out the door! The office takes a whole slew of insurances, which makes frequent treatment affordable. I swore by chiropractic care throughout my pregnancy (I was a patient before, but started showing up 3 times a week with my baby bump). Postpartum, I would bring the baby along. My son is almost two and has been receiving chiropractic care since he was just a few weeks old. Dr Cassie is AWESOME with kids and adjusts him in a matter of seconds. He loves her to pieces and loves his visits. (The post adjustment apples are a nice perk, too.)

First off, Id like to thank Dr. Cassie for the amount of time and effort she has invested in my own wellness and corrective exercise. Dr. Cassie is beyond knowledgeable of the human body and Im a firm believer theres nothing she cant adjust or alleviate pain from. I have had the dry needling done by Dr. Cassie on multiple occasions and cannot begin to describe the relief that has come from each session. I have experienced more than a few broken bones and been in multiple auto accidents as well as a motorcycle accident in the past five years. I am a Kinesiology major and I train hard on a regular basis and she has provided me so much relief from many of the issues that I dealt with on a daily basis and didnt even know it. I would recommend Dr. Cassie to a friend, a family member, and even my greatest enemy. Dr. Cassie produces exceptional results with her methods of chiropractic and massage care. She is very responsive and has always taken it upon herself to go out of her way to help me with an ailment or an issue Ive been struggling with. Dr. Cassie is always very personable and makes it very easy to carry on conversation with. The rest of the staff at Ballenger Creek Chiropractic are just as extraordinary as Dr. Cassie and I could not be more pleased with the services and results extended to me. -Daniel

When I first met Dr. Cassie at a local health fair I was not even considering starting chiropractic care. I was a bit skeptical of the benefits (to me) as the only complaints that I could think of were some very sporadic neck and/or lower back pain. At the health fair, I had signed up for and later won a free consultation and then decided to give it a try. During the consultation, and seemingly out of nowhere Dr. Cassie asked "do you ever get headaches" and then "how frequently?" At the time it seemed as if she had used some dark Jedi powers to read my inner thoughts. I had been having somewhat frequent headaches but prior to the visit did not associate them with anything that could be treated with chiropractic care and thus did not mention it prior to her questioning. After the first few weeks of adjustments the frequency of the headaches has been significantly reduced. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Cassie, which speaks volumes since the last time I actually took the time to sit down and review a business online it was over customer service issues with my cable provider.

I have been a patient of Dr. Cassies for almost a year now-- I started seeing her when I was about 6 months pregnant. She always listens and gives helpful exercises to help with your pain/discomfort. She always asks for your input and gives you all of the information you need to make informed decisions about your care. I have been to other chiropractors in the past and have been made to feel hurried or rushed with the doctors-- I can honestly say that there are times that she spends over a half hour with me making sure that I always feel better before I leave. Also- ask her about dry needling-- Im not really a "needle" person but I was in so much pain that I went for it. It honestly kept my pain at bay for a few days which at the time was a blessing!! Now Im up to ONE MONTH between appointments - in the world of chiropractics thats a huge accomplishment! Sorry this is such a long review but there is just so much to say-- Dr. Cassie is amazing, her office staff is fantastic and their office mascot, Ballie (the dog) is always happy to see you!

I had always planned on seeing a Chiropractor at some point b/z I have issues with my lower back. I intially met Dr. Cassie at an open house and after she performed a mini evaluation and was impressed enough to actually come to her office. Not only does she have a vast amount of knowledge in this field, although that is what we expect from someone who has their Doctorate, but her "bed side manner" is the best that I have ever seen from any doctor. The techniques and exercises she provides you allow you to continue your progress outside of her office. She articulates and explains information in a manner in which you are able to receive and understand it. I would say aside from the knowledge she has, along with learning about her intern experience at Walter Reed, one of the things I like the most is her availability in that Im able to work a full day and still make it to her office for my for my 6:30pm appt. Keep in mind i work in Alexandria.

I just started with Dr. Cassie about a month ago. I am a competitive powerlifter who has been struggling with several injuries that have severely affected my effectiveness in my sport. After just one session with Dr. Cassie I noticed an immediate change in my stiff neck and traps, and my squat and deadlift are coming back with a vengeance!! I have been to quite a few chiropractors over the years and have not found any that could help me work through these chronic injuries associated with powerlifting...with Dr. Cassie I have noticed as I said earlier, an immediate difference. I also have been struggling with depth in my squats for the last several years...Dr. Cassie has really helped in just a short period of time with this issue. I predict that I will be setting PRs in November at my next meet!!
