After injuring my back and hip, I was unable to stand, sit and walk for prolonged periods. Chiropractic care was not a viable option for my orthopedists who preferred physical therapy, pain management or surgery over holistic alternatives. After three years of physical therapy at five rehab facilities and making minimal progress, I decided to try chiropractic care as a last resort. In my dealings with Dr. DeMaio, he is professional and considerate. During my evaluation, he established trust and transparency through information. He is clear in defining his role as DC and dispelling any misconceptions regarding chiropractic care. His office is aesthetically pleasing, clean, and well organized. Most services can be coordinated during the same office visit. Under Dr. DeMaios expert care, he was able to accomplish what my prior physical therapists were unable to achieve and that is progress with sustainable results. Because of his efforts, I am able to work part-time with accommodations. Moreover, I am functional, have increased mobility and the frequency and intensity of triggers has diminished. Dr. DeMaio was my last hope, and could not have progressed without him. Chiropractic medicine is based on a different school of thought and is no different than any other medical specialty. I highly recommend Dr. DeMaio and his colleagues. Thank you Dr. DeMaio!

DeMaio Family Chiropractic is an absolutely wonderful practice. I started going a few years ago because of lower back pain. Dr. Jim is fantastic and has always made me feel comfortable. When I first started going, he took the time to explain everything since I had never been to a chiropractor before. The front office staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The office is also very flexible with appointment times and has many available times if you need to reschedule. I have never had a more pleasant doctors office experience and my back feels great!

DeMairo Chirpractor office Waugh Chapel is the office I go to. Since moving here 2 years and 4 months ago I started going to this office. I had a very sore back muscle and general soreness in my back all from tension and loosing my husband . Dr Jim was great and with in a few visits I felt so much better . The office staff are always friendly and welcoming . I highly recommend this office.

I go EVERY Wednesday with my daughter to see Dr Oz for maintenance which has been keeping away constant back pain and migraines due to scoliosis. Hes helped me with headaches caused by rapid weather changes, vertigo, hips out of line, ribs out of place and even a small sprain in my ankle. I leave this office feeling fresh and new every time. I wouldnt go anywhere else if you paid me.

Both times I went to DeMaio Chiropractic(Bowie MD location) I was forgotten about. Id have an appointment for one time and end up waiting 60-90 mins before I was even seen. Both times the Dr told me "He didnt know I was there". I do find that hard to believe because he came out to get the other patients. Not quite sure how he could miss me but I do not think Ill be going here again.

I love DeMaio Family Chiropractic! The entire staff are super friendly and helpful. Dr. Oz is very attentive to my needs and concerns. He has demonstrated some stretches which help with any discomfort I feel in between visits. He does adjustments for me, my spouse and my 3-year old son. We all love him! Excellent service and care I received. The doctor really helped with nerve pain going down my shoulder making my fingers numb. Ill need continued adjustments to keep this from happening but well worth it to avoid surgery.
