My back problems started when I was 24, working as usual when I felt and heard a pop in my lower back, it was so loud even my boss standing next to me heard it and told me to report it to the company Doctor the next day which I did, but ever since that day my “normal life” gradually faded away. I used to work out, sports everything I was very active till then but started to slow down because a lot of the things I liked to do would cause lower back pain. Some years later I got in a car accident that really messed it up bad and for years I went to Osteopaths, Orthopedic Doctors, Neurologists, GPs and even Chiropractors for chronic back pain. Ive had many shots in my lower back, medications, therapy, you name it but none of them gave me any long term relief. Some of the treatments were very painful, some were useless and some helped but not for very long if at all. One day after hours of internet searching I found this doctor who was listed as an Osteopath which caught my attention and I decided to try, but when I got there he told me that he had changed his practice to GP but knew a Doctor that could help me and that even he goes to when necessary. So he referred me to Dr. Brian Petrie. I made the appointment the next day and when I got there I proceeded to tell Dr. Petrie my history and that l had heard how good he was from this other doctor. He said he understood what it was like having had problems himself in the past and would do his best. Well let me tell you Ill never regret calling for my first appointment because he has given me my life back. Oh sure I go back occasionally for a treatment but at least Im living a normal life again. I can even do some working out again! I could honestly never say enough good things about him. In my opinion “He is the best there is, there is none better” and I’ve gone to a lot of them. 10 million Thanks Doc.

When I first went to see Dr. Petrie, I could not move my left arm further back than my hip. I was unable to do everyday things like putting on a coat or reach for something. My primary care doctor had tried high doses of ibuprofen and ice. When this did not work, she sent me for physical therapy. My results from the physical therapy were disappointing. The physical therapist recommended Dr. Petrie. Dr. Petrie sent me for x-rays before starting any treatment. My primacy care doctor also sent me for an mri. My primary care doctor wanted to try injections into my shoulder. I was not happy with the idea of injecting something into my body and thought it would be a temporary fix. I opted to see Dr. Petrie twice a week. Dr. Petrie did increasing mobilization of my shoulder and used the Graston Technique. He also gave me excercises to do at home. I now have full motion of my shoulder and arm and no pain. I am completely thrilled and amazed with the results. I have renamed Dr. Petrie to Dr. Super Genius. I have recommended him to so many people, without any hesitation. He is very caring, gentle and amazingly skilled.

I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Petrie and his staff in Dec. 2016, after a car accident. The morning I first called his office, he saw me that day. I arrived in tremendous pain in my neck, shoulder and upper back areas. His receptionist, Joanne, was so helpful and friendly that I quickly felt the ease of my anxiety. Dr. Petrie was very professional and sympathetic towards my injuries and took his time, during the consultation, to explain in detail the treatment plan he would like to take for my injuries. Dr. Petrie is extremely knowledgeable and sincerely cares for his patients recovery. After three months, I can walk out of his office feeling such relief of the pain I had at the onset of my treatment. He is a very thorough doctor, putting me very quickly on a physical therapy exercise treatment plan, which I could do at home. My name is Ryan Hayes and I am a 34 year old personal trainer and all around fitness enthusiast. Many years of athletics, body building and powerlifting has finally caught up with me and I was experiencing constant lower back soreness and tightness. I was urged by a friend to see a chiropractor and that she had benefited greatly from seeing one. After explaining my problem with Dr Petrie I was relieved that he suggested multiple strategies to cope with my back issue. Having a degree in Kiniesiology I thought I was familiar with many of the reasons of why my back could be sore but Dr. Petrie demonstrated numerous stretches, went over my lifting form as well as explained to me the benefits of receiving alignments. I left his office feeling great and due his advise and occasional alignments I can continue to do what I love to do pain free!!! I would highly recommend Dr. Petrie Chiropractic! Even his office manager was extremely friendly and knowledgeable!! Great experience.

Since beginning chiropractic care here, Ive felt a huge relief from my neck and shoulder pain I had been experiencing. The entire staff is friendly, helpful and patient. Dr. petrie demonstrates a high degree of knowledge and experience that any patient would want to see in their chiropractor. I was personally impressed with his attention to my specific issues, his detailed explanation of what was causing them, and his clarity in explaining what we can both do to improve my health. From my first consultation with him he ran a number of tests and sent me for very specific x-rays to really see what was causing my pain. Overall, it was a very thorough process that he used to begin a specific care regiment designed for my needs. I would sincerely recommend Dr. Petrie to anyone seeking chiropractic care!

I recently injured my lower back and have been seeing Dr. Petrie for several months now. His knowledge and treatment techniques are excellent. I have been progressing steadily and when I first hurt it I thought I would be looking at surgery. Now I am confident Of full recovery with his Chiropractic care combined with the strength training and stretching he prescribed. He is also an excellent overall health consultant.
