I have been suffering from lower back pain for as long as I remember. Over the years I have seen many physicians and have been to many back pain clinics. I heard about the wonderful hands on personal care of Amira Tal-Henig from a few friends, but I couldn’t go see her until this year, January 2017, when I switched my health insurance to the one her office accepts. Amira Tal-Henig was the reason for switching my health care insurance. I had to try a different approach to taking care of my back and I finally found the place for me - Healing Hands. Amira is different from all the PTs I have seen and tried. She is extremely pleasant, skillful and dedicated to helping you become pain-free. The entire 45 minutes session is devoted to Amira’s personal hands-on approach. She figured out my back issues on our first meeting and since then the entire session is spent working on my back; untying, softening, releasing and loosening every possible muscle that causes my ongoing back pain. I waited too long to be seen by Amira, but I am here now, under her extraordinary care, healing my back with every touch. Pauli Weizman

Healing hands has been an life changing experience for me. After I delivered my son vaginally(5months later), I was still unable to have intercourse with my husband due to MAJOR pain and tightness. I first met with one of the OBGYNs in my doctors office when I knew there was a problem. I felt very rushed and left the appointment feeling frusterated because she didnt have answers or solutions to my problems. After my sister in law told me she had a similar situation (post delivery) and PFPT helped her tremoundsly, I found Healing Hands. Amira and Katie worked on me for around 8 weeks and WOW, what a transformation!! These ladies are truly amazing at what they do and Im so thankful I found them. They made me feel completely comfortable and took great care of me. This was a huge success for me and I truly believe God healed me through this experience with Amira and Katie. Thank you Amira and Katie!! Crystal was also wonderful helping me set up appointments and accomodating me and my crazy schedule! Thank you ladies!

The ladies at Healing Hands changed my life! I struggled with migraines and tension headaches for about 15 years with temporary relief in prescriptions. As a 31 year old, experiencing major headaches 3 to 4 days out of the week was debilitating, not to mention the awful effects the prescriptions must have started to have on my liver. Worn down and looking for alternatives, I found Healing Hands and started working with them in August of 2013. Amira, Katie and Fawn all had different collaborative approaches to my health and working together they have all changed my life. I am no longer dependent on Immitrex and my headaches have both decreased in intensity and frequency. I now see a headache maybe once or twice a month and the stretching exercises I have learned help ward off the headache without use of prescriptions or over the counter meds. I owe an enormous thank you to these ladies for their dedication and support to my health. I would highly recommend Healing Hands a million times over!

Healing Hands has provided me with so much relief from my TMJ problems, and even discovered other neck issues that have been contributing to my pain! I have been to several dentists and physicians in the past, and this is the most relief I have had in years! Amira, Katie, Karissa, Melissa and the rest of the staff are all extremely caring and knowledgable. Amira is highly trained in this area, and puts so much care and effort into each session. Katie definitely complements Amira, and they both work so well together to ensure you are comfortable throughout the entire treatment. I can now enjoy foods I wasnt able to eat before, and have been off of pain medications since I started therapy. Thank you Amira and the rest of your amazing staff for all of your hard work! I would definitely highly recommend them to anyone suffering from any pain!

I have struggled with chronic pain for most of my life, from which there is little relief, from a combination of rotational-scoliosis, 3 x congenital cervical bone fusion and having T6+T7 fused from a car accident and the desiccation of most of my lumbar disks from the combination of all of the above. The ladies at Healing Hands have helped me tremendously in being able to strengthen my body and develop practical and personal methods to help me deal with pain as well as open up to me NEW ideas on therapy. Life is about quality as well as quantity, and after only a few months of help I can say with absolute certainty that my quality of life has greatly improved thanks to the combined expertise of my team of caring and enlightened therapists. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I wish I had come here sooner.

Over 25 years of pain and stiffness following a horseback riding injury, several abdominal surgeries and childbirth. Instant relief after my first session with Amira and continued progress each time I see her. Interspersed with sessions with Katie doing visceral therapy which has been absolutely life changing. I was skeptical initially of Katies approach as it was so gentle but following the first visit, there were VISIBLE changes in the contour of my torso which had previously been twisted off to the right. My goal is to get back to horse riding after a 15+ year hiatus and I feel that I am heading in the right direction. Anyone who has has abdominal surgery or been through child birth should contact Healing Hands and book to see Katie. Visceral therapy could save years of pain and expense.

I have been raving about Healing Hands PT! Mostly because Im just so happy to be feeling good! This is my 5th round of PT in almost 5 years, different states, different clinics, and Healing Hands stands out by miles. This is the first time I have experienced such relief! The team at Healing Hands approached my injury with a gentleness and integrative sensibility that is intuitive and spot on! VERY very different experience from more traditional hospital setting PT. I would send anyone with any kind of pain or injury to Amira and her team. I hope their work can be replicated in other clinics so more patients can experience their strategic, team oriented, compassionate skill. Through the last 10 years or so, I have been to other highly regarded physical therapy facilities. None of them were able to resolve or alleviate the arthritic pains Ive had in several joints, especially my knees and shoulders. Now, however, my search is over. Amira, and the therapy team at Healing Hands Physical Therapy have effectively utilized different treatment methods to relieve or eliminate chronic pain in my joints. The use of hands-on manipulation, cold laser therapy, and specific exercises has greatly reduced or eliminated my joint pains. The cold laser therapy has seemingly done wonders for my knees (e.g. reduced inflammation/pain) and shoulders. Also, Amiras "healing hands" have complemented this technology perfectly. Highly recommended!!!

After last year accident the upper back pain became so bad that occasionally I could not go to work. But I managed somehow to get to "Healing hands". Dr. Amira, Kathy and Krystal were always helpful, hopeful and always could decrease the pain. They used exercises, traction, massage, electrical stimulation, heat..., and every time it worked: pain was becoming less intense. And if help was needed, Dr. Amira or Kathy found time to work on me even without previously arranged appointment. After several months pain did not disappear completely yet (my physician expects it last for at least a year or so) and I know that I shall return to "Healing hands" time to time, but as many times they told me: "There is always hope.."
