We will not be returning to Riverside Animal Hospital. We have been patrons at this office since adopting our dog, George. One day we were coming in to get a rabies and bordatella vaccination, both of which were required to sign him up for puppy training classes. After waiting for about an hour, the staff took him back. Unless you are willing to pay a fee to see the doctor, they take your animals to the back without you. At the end of our visit, the staff brought him back out to me and in front of all of the other patrons loudly expressed her opinion that George was very poorly behaved and need training. She seemed quite irritated. After explaining that we were in the process of getting him signed up, but needed these shots to do so, she continued to offer her unrequested opinion about George. When we arrived home, George cowered away from us and my father in law for the rest of the night. This behavior continued for several days, making me wonder what happened when he was not in my control. I would imagine that they care for a great number of puppies who are still learning to control themselves. George, being only four months old, can obey commands when we are at home and he is not distracted by other dogs. While at the vet, he does have a hard time controlling himself due to the fact that there are many other dogs he wishes to play with and because he likely does not enjoy being taken from me and given shots. I do understand that he must learn to control himself in this environment, which is why we were getting these vaccinations to put him in training. After writing to the office about this situation and asking that staff be trained to discuss these things in a private setting with a calm and non-judgemental manner, I received no reply. We will not be returning to Riverside. I found the staff members behavior to be incredibly unprofessional and rude. I walked away from the office feeling unwelcome and judged by her.

they are professional. i felt i was explained the different options well. they help according to my needs. i work in customer related job and i felt they were very nice. they were very helpful. my dog got sick in the lobby twice they were kind and helped clean it up. they were nice to my dog. they did not force anything on the dog they soft spoken. the doctor remembered the last time the dog was there and noticed that my dog was acting different and when my dog was uncomfertable (do to a shot from last time that, she remembers any pain) she went out and got another person that my dog liked to help us. they also did not charge for something that did not work when they had every right to cause i agreed. they also allowed me to be through the whole process. they have very nice rooms and the building is clean.

This is an excellent vet. It is walk-in only except for surgery, so sometimes you may wait a while, but you will be seen. They are very professional. One of the vets could use a little work on her bedside manner but the vets skills are simply amazing. I started going there when I found a three week old, very ill kitten by the side of the road. I swore it wasnt going to make it, drove like mad to get to there. They got me right in, cleaned the poor thing up, gave him antibiotics and detailed instructions on how to care for the kitten. I was only charged $50 for the visit and medication. The kitten survived and now this is the only vet I will take my animals to.

The Veterinarians were very nice to work with. Unfortunately one of the receptionists maintains a level of professionalism and knowledge of customer service similar to that of a 13 year old. Instead of attempting to work with an obviously frustrated customer, she insulted the customer, causing a verbal retaliation and the immediate termination of any future business. If they would scrap the receptionist Id say this place has some potential.

The caring and compassionate staff went out of their way to get my cat in on X-mas eve. I new he was in significant distress, they stayed open 20 minutes late and quickly diagnosed the problem. We had to put him to sleep, but their compassion was unbelievable. My own vet would not help me. I will only bring my pets here in the future.

We have been going there for 19 years and have always had great service! They are very careful with my dogs and they do a really good job. Their prices are very fair too compared to what other places charge. Dr Koan is one of the best vets I have ever met! She is very nice & very professional. There is no reason to go any place else!

It was awfull my cat never got in there we had to wait an hour and a half for nothing 27 dogs came after us and got out before us and the people at the desk were so rude all i wanted was my cats weight and his nails cliped.IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR CATS DONT TAKE THEM HERE!!!!!!!!!! #worestanimalclinickever

This is the only place Ill take my pet. The staff is so friendly and they work with you as much as possible to give you a reasonable price. They all really care about your animals and what theyre doing. Expect a wait since its walk-in only, but if thats how they keep prices down, Im happy.

Very affordable prices with stellar service. Theyve helped with my fear based aggressive border collie with no judgement they are always willing to answer questions and treat your furbabies like they are family. They never try to push and option and will tell it straight. I love them.

I was on hold for 7 minutes after the receptionist was rude and placed me on hold. I called back 6 times and was hung up on each time. The reason for my call? To have my dog put down. They are very affordable however. I do appreciate that.

Just left there with a huge relieved heart. The techs are great, Dr. Brown was very gentle has a wonderful "bedside" manner and didnt "man handle" my ill cat. If my others pets show symptoms l will not hesitate to bring them in.

They are good aboit working with me for my pets when i need it and the vet is AWESOME. The desk is VERY helpful if anyone has questions or concerns. They are busy but they are definitely the only vet i go to anymore

Helped our Apollo (cat) and were the friendliest, kindest people. They treated him like he was their pet. No long wait for an emergency visit. Definitely will be using them for all our pets care. God Bless you all.
