I have to agree with the review about the Christian music being played in the waiting area. It is always on when I go there, and it kind of makes me uncomfortable. I saw Dr. Bollman for several years, and I was never happy because the staff seemed rude (with the exception of Dee, her nurse/assistant, who is a total sweetheart!), and Dr. Bollman just doesnt seem to care and is really condescending and let some major issues slip through the cracks... but then one day I had a bit of an emergency, and Dr. Bollman was all booked up so I agreed to see Karen Risch, their nurse practitioner.. and she is incredible. She actually cares, and listens, and she gets things done. I feel like every visit I make to see her is productive. The staff also seems to have become friendlier in recent months--I noticed it when they changed from Sparrow to McLaren (I believe thats correct?). Anyway, Ive had some very poor experiences at Red Cedar, but as long as Karen Risch is there, I will remain a patient there.

The staff are very nice there but the place moves at a snails pace. I get taking time to provide excellent care but then they need to schedule so that you arent waiting 45 minutes before youre even taken to a room to see just the nurse and then un godly long after that to see the dr. Ive got small children and nobody to leave them with and I truly dread my visits here. You dont have to assembly line people in and out either. Meet some where in the middle. I will likely look for another primary provider.

I must say that the previous reviewer has never been to the clinic or is just making things up. I have been a patient there for almost 11 years and when there is a radio playing, rarely, it is always tuned to a music station. I would completely discount that review as being from a disgruntled former patient or someone with an to grind. The experience described by him could not have happened at the clinic I go to.

Patients of all cultures, religions and belief systems are subjected to nearly an hour of evangelical Christian radio in the Red Cedar waiting room. Drs. admitted that this could be oppressive to non-evangelicals, but never asked the staff to change it. Apparently, little empathy for diverse patients.
