I had the worst dental experience of my life at this facility. The dentist first told me a procedure would work and it didnt rather than have a bridge. He said even though my tooth was healthy to get a root canal in case theres issues once the tooth is covered. Most dentists try to save your teeth.I didnt want to destroy the tooth but he pushed for it, like a fool I gave in.He required the money up front stating over and over they stand behind there guarantee. When it didnt work, every bite I took the artificial teeth stood straight up. I was very upset I wanted my money back. He said he would only refund half of it. After back and forth they said they would do a bridge but he used temporary material and it cracked within days.He told me it was permanent material. Again I went back and this time the tooth he has covered with bridge is like 1/4 th exposed. How can I stop decay now easily. The dentist said it doesnt matter. Ive never seen a cap or bridge with so much tooth exposed. With the root canal and other procedures Ive never had so much pain, hes far from gentle.Then I get a letter in the mail hes dropping me as a client.The only way I would of returned is if the bridge broke or issues with what he did. Im sure because Im holding him accountable he wrote me off. He has no intention of standing behind his work.Im putting in a formal complaint so others dont have an experience like this from him.The only positive experience I had was with his kind hearted dental assistant, she tried so hard to make it right. I want all my money back since he wont stand behind his work and not doing what he stated he would.THERES MANY GOOD DENTISTS OUT THERE ...FIND ANOTHER ...DONT GO THRU WHAT I DID...

My familys long-time dentist retired and I was looking for a new, younger, family focused dentist for my family and me near the St. Michael / Albertville MN area. My wife sent me in as the guinea pig and needless to say the Dental Hygienists were extremely friendly, the equipment was all high tech and Dr. White was extremely knowledgeable, thorough and welcoming. My wife and kids had the same positive experience as I did. I have to admit Im not a huge fan of dental visits, especially when going to a dentist for the first time but Dr. White made the transition very comfortable. I highly recommend this dental practice and Dr. White.

I was originally with Excel Dental before it switched owners. I honestly liked their service better. My insurance covers 2 cleanings and 1 exam a year, not sure if its common practice but White Dental wont let me just come in for my 2nd cleaning. They said i would have to also have a 2nd exam and pay out of pocket for it. Excel always let me have the 2nd cleaning with no exam. Another issue, my child was a bit nervous on the last visit and the hygienist did not have the patience. My child wasnt even bad in the slightest and they charged us a Behavioral fee for the visit of over $100. Debating on switching dentists!

I heard about White Smiles, because they were giving away FREE crowns to veterans back in July! I was very skeptical at first, because Ive never heard of a dentist giving away crowns, because they are normally 1000 bucks a piece. I was amazed at how nice the people were and how friendly the staff was! And to my surprise they ended up doing 3 free crowns on me! This was one of the kindest things anyone has done for me, and now Im not afraid to smile, because they fixed my front teeth. I found a dentist for life!

I first heard of White Smiles when they held a Veterans Day special. They served all Veterans that day with free dental work. I was able to get a crown done for FREE!!! The staff at White Smiles is what makes the place so great. All staff have been very accommodating and understand the needs of their patients. Now my entire family goes. I finally got my smile back after having major dental work done. Dr. White is incredible and has surrounded himself with staff that are second to none.

Dental assistant was very kind and sweet with my daughter and also thorough with teeth cleaning. Dr. Bartel not so nice nor a very good Dentist! She messed up my daughters fillings pretty badly when later on caused her much pain!! They were temp fillings in her baby teeth. :(. I also had a filling done and now when I smile you can see the filling up the side of my tooth. Never happened in previous experience with other Dentists. I would look elsewhere in finding a good Dentist.

after struggling for years to find a dental office that my kids will like, I found Excel. They no longer dread going in for routine cleanings, or even a sealant or fill. I myself had to try them out too. THE BEST ive ever used. I recommend to everyone I know, no matter where they live because its worth the drive. The staff is courteous and Michele is excellent at getting you what you need done in a very timely manner. I will be going for years and years!

Not my cup of tea. The hygienists are nice enough and front office staff is polite. Wait times are a little long and the dentist...gah...his personality leaves something to be desired. "Rock and Roll! Sooo Awesome Sauce!" etc. etc. The barrage of over-the-top phrases could be overlooked if he seemed like he actually had any connection to the patient. Its okay but I think well be heading somewhere else next time. (Prices seem a bit high as well.)

Dr White is fabulous! His staff was very attentive and explained my treatment very well. I cant say enough about how great of experience I had, and will continue to have, being Dr Whites patient. I used to hate the dentist and NOW I feel more than comfortable with Dr White and his staff, they took all my anxiety away. I would recommend him to anyone :) My teeth are super white now bc I used his FREE WHITENING coupon!!

never in my life have I ever cried so much during a visit at the many dentist location Ive gone too. they didnt even let the numbing gel sit in my mouth long enough for the needles. They didnt even bother to stop when I was crying I had to yell at them. Excel dentistry was so much better. not to mention the hygienist was very rude to me. Ill never return here.

Overall the best dental experience I have ever had. From the moment you arrive you are greeted by warm and friendly staff. My hygenist, Christine was amazing (truly the best I have had) and Dr White is wonderful. I would highly recommend White Smiles as a great place to go for the entire family! Its easily an 11/10!

The staff is very courteous and professional, the office is clean and quiet, the staff is very informational, patient, caring and nice. I am terrified of the dentist, but I had such a great experience here, that I will now be taking my whole family here. I definately recommend them to anybody!!!
