Today I had a crown started. Have to go back for the permanent version in three weeks. AFDs office is pleasant and inviting - for the brief time you wait. Ive never had to wait long. I hardly ever even pick up a magazine anymore because I barely start reading anything and your dental hygienist is there to call you back to the treatment room. Im always greeted by name when I enter - before I can even announce who I am and that I have arrived for my appointment. Its like theyre psychic (or they are reading their schedules!) The hygienists and doctors are friendly and talk to you - about you and also about what they are doing to your teeth. They walk you out when you are done and communicate what is next, if anything, to you and the gals in the scheduling desk. You always leave with a receipt and your next scheduled appointment. Complimentary tooth brushes, sample floss and sample toothpaste are offered. Overall, they earn high marks for professionalism and friendliness. Ive been a patient there for about 25 years, maybe longer.

I used to hate going to the dentist but the staff here is so exceptional that I almost look forward to my 6 month appointments. When I first walk through the door, Katie normally greets me by name and ask how things are in my life. I have never had to wait past my scheduled appointment time to go back for my cleanings. I always see Michelle, she is awesome. She either remembers our previous conversations or takes notes because from one appointment to the next, we generally pick up where we left off or she has questions about something I had told her I was going to do. On the occasion that I have needed dental work, Dr. Yegge and Toni do a great job keeping me comfortable and pain free. Dr. Yegge remembers his patients just like Michelle and prior to getting to work, he takes a few minutes to see how things are in life. Overall I give this office an A+

I am a new patient with this office and I am very happy I am. I called this morning to make an appointment and was a bit nervous. I hadnt been to the dentist in some time and had a few things that were bothering me. The receptionist, Katie that I spoke with was super nice and advised me of a cancelation they had this morning. When I got to the office check in was a breeze and I was seen within a few minutes. My dental hygienist Angie was again super nice and very understanding of my nervousness. Dr. Yegge was the dentist that I saw and he too was very kind!! Every single person I talked with was understanding and didnt give me a hard time for not going to the dentist as I routinely should have. If you are in need of a dentist I recommend going to this practice!! I am not a fan of the dentist, but the whole office put my mind at ease. Thank you!

First of all, I want to say how amazing this place is... so relaxing and comforting. I had not been to the dentist in over 6 years before coming here. I have had horrible experiences at the dentist and was having anxiety about going. My dental hygienist was amazing; explained what she was doing before she did it and why. Very helpful for someone who was anxious about the appointment. Dr. Yegge was very up front and honest; he allowed me to be a part of the treatment process by explaining his professional opinion and then giving me options for treatment. I would recommend this office to EVERYONE. Really great people.

I cracked a tooth on New Years Eve eating popcorn in the movie theatre, when I got home I called the emergency number given on the voicemail from the office. Dr. Yegge answered, he was at a New Years Eve celebration with his family, but was so helpful and understanding, he met me the next morning, which was Sunday at 8:30, to take care of my broken tooth. So helpful, kind and considerate! I have always been afraid of the dentist, but not anymore... everyone at this office is great and never any painful visits! Thank you!

Im the biggest chicken when it comes to going to the dentist. I had "dr. driller" as a kid and every time I go to have a procedure done, Dr. Stewart puts me at ease and is very kind. I have horrible memories of that dreaded needle, and of all the things I have had done to my teeth with Dr Stewart, never once have I even seen it or felt it. Having the television helps along with that awesome nitrous! Shes perfect for chickens like me! All the staff are great! Awesome place! Glad I found her!

I was 30 years old and had gone to the dentist every six months my entire life and have never had a cavity. I moved to Ankeny and gave these guys a shot. They told me I had FIVE cavities. As you may think, that was hard for me to swallow. I immediately went and got a second opinion in town. The second dentist found ZERO cavities. I didnt mention my previous experience until after my visit with the 2nd dentist. Needless to say, it left us all a little speechless.

LOVE this office. I used to HATE going to dentists until I found this office, which was recommended by all of my coworkers. Every staff member is so nice and helpful, their equipment is state of the art, and they have the option of text and email communication so all my appointments are scheduled through email and automatically added to my Outlook calendar. I love this office so much that I drive 35 minutes from home to get to it and I wouldnt consider any other.

Everyone in this office is amazing. So professional and always friendly. The office itself has a cozy, homey feeling, which is welcoming. The receptionists are helpful and the dental hygienist, wonderful. I personally have seen Dr. Brandt and he is great! He was comforting & patient with my neurotic, anxiety I get over going to the dentist.

My family and I were looking for a new dentist and two coworkers recommended Advanced Family Dentistry. The staff at Advanced Family Dentistry are very professional and thorough. They have a great play area in the waiting room for kids. We were nervous about going to a new dentist, but Im glad that we found Advanced Family Dentistry!

Staff are very courteous and professional from the moment I walk in to the moment Im leaving. Very clean and well kept office. Ive seen multiple staff, but mostly Dr. Stuart (shes amazing!) that always impress me. Id recommend Advanced Family Dentistry to all my family and friends!
