EDITED Aug 2017 The facility is very nice, light, and clean. The hygienists are so friendly and either take great notes or have stellar memories because they remember details about your life which makes you feel valued. Dr. Moore is FANTASTIC and does wonderful work! He is friendly, logical, and was very patient with me as he worked on a crown since I am not easy to numb. However, our experiences with Dr. Jensen were not nearly as pleasant and we felt like cosmetic or suggestions that were not truly necessary were frequently pushed. When I switched to Dr. Moore, I didnt receive constant suggestions on how to improve the look of my already straight and white teeth. My husband felt the same way and then Dr. Jensen told him he needed to have 5 cavities filled after x-rays taken with a new machine. It seemed odd since he isnt prone to a lot of cavities but he received a quote which seemed reasonable until he went in for the first two fillings. We found out the person misquoted him and the total cost would be 3x as much. While the Office Manager worked with us a little bit on the cost they were not going to honor the original quote which is unacceptable. Upon changing dentists, hes received far more reasonable advice and cost of services. Again, there are several great things about this place but the combination of our experiences and not honoring a quote for services has forced us to take business elsewhere.

Out of business!!!! Went in for a crown, took 4 visits, and a large bill. Ive been attempting to get a hold of Smile Design Dentistry for the last hour 1pm to 2pm Ive called about 30 times, seriously cant get a hold of anyone I think they must be on lock down or they are out of business. I want to confirm I dont own them anything more as I have paid them everything and never plan on coming back. I went in for a crown but the crown was no good, had to come in for another fitting, then another for the proper size crown. Then I get a large bill , I mailed a check, saw the check is cashed, but got another bill, for what???!! I cant get a hold of them for the life of me, if your going to take my money, please hire staff that can handle the phones, and maybe hire dentists that can actually do dental work right the first time. I hope they are not charging me for the bad crown and the good one. Maybe someone from Smile Design that works there will respond to this? But Im not holding my breath.

I have been going to this dental group since the 1980s at the original clinic (in New Hope). We kept them as our clinic of choice when they moved to relocate to their present Plymouth location.My daughters have been going to Dr Jensens dental clinic group all of their lives. They have both moved out of state/ country and both will still only attend dental visit under his care. (so they have come back home to get in their dental visits). The professionalism and quality of care from this dental team has earned our total trust and loyalty. They are skilled, honest and always willing to help us maintain the very best care that we can afford. They are all passionate about excellent oral care and I would not trust anyone else. I have even stayed with them when my insurance plan had other preferred providers at lower dental plan cost. I would highly recommend them to anyone. They care about the whole person and always remember your name, personal details about you and make you feel at home.

My family and I have been patients of Dr. Jensen for over 20 years. He and his staff are uniquely professional, personable, and caring for all different age groups. We have been seen for routine check ups, orthodontia, normal dental work, and cosmetic services. We have been to other dentists around the Twin Cities prior to meeting Dr. Jensen, and I can see first hand, why he has been awarded "Top Dentist" awards throughout the years. He is just that much better. I have also been impressed with his commitment to continuing education as it relates to his field. He is passionate about his work and eager to learn new and improved practices to share with his patients. I have referred dozens of new and old friends to this clinic. They have all agreed that this Dr. Jensen and his staff are the best around!

Hygienist was pleasant and nice and the cleaning service was good. However, I felt as if every time I went in they wanted to do something to my teeth (replacing a filling, changing a filling from silver to white, etc.) and throughout my adulthood Ive never really had serious cavity issues, so I was concerned about what was really going on... I switched dentists to get a second opinion and pointed out the various concerns that Smile Design wanted to do to my teeth and the new dentist like what, why and said that at this time there isnt anything that needs to be done and everything looks great. Whereas Smile Design had several procedures that they wanted to perform...

I have been with Smile Design Dentistry most of my adult life. One of the unique things about Smile Design that keeps me coming back is the quality of care I receive from the support staff. The staff turn over is almost zero which indicates to me that this is truly a care "team." The staff, from the front desk to the back chair are people that seem to want to be here and who know me. The reason I keep coming back is the true satisfaction I feel in the care I receive. They are more than pushing product. They seem to actually care about the quality of their profession. In this day and age that is a refreshing experience. I highly recommend Smile Design.

I have received my dental care from the Dr. Jenson and Dental Hygienist Sue for 35 years at Smile Design in Plymouth and its first office in Brooklyn Park. I truly value this lifelong relationship not only for the expert work they do, but for the time taken with me as a person, not just a customer. While it might be a stretch to say I look forward to going to the dentist, I can honestly say I look forward to seeing these people (especially Sue) who have been caring for this aspect of my health for so long. For further proof of this, Ive been driving up to Smile Design from Prior Lake and Lakeville for the past 11 years!

You are always greeted with a "smile" at Smile Design Dentistry, from the moment you walk in the door you know you will be taken care of. My hygienist, Kerry was fantastic - if you dont "love" going to the dentist I would suggest requesting her. She was gentle yet very efficient. I walked out feeling fresh but not sore. It doesnt get better then Dr. Jensen, he gets down to business but always takes time to ask about your life! I know that I am receiving the best dental care when Dr. Jensen does my exam. I highly recommend Smile Design Dentistry for anyone looking for a great place to bring your family.

Friendly and Professional All of the staff members are very kind. They walked me through the process and let me know everything they were going to do because they knew how nervous I was. They were very interested in me and asked me about things we had talked about weeks prior, at my last appointment. I feel as if this dentist office truly cares about their patients as people, not just a number. Also, if you can, I recommend you get Dr. Moore to tell you his really funny dad jokes. They will crack you up! Make an appointment today! Tell them that Megan sent you! They work with all kinds of insurance!
