I "discovered" Dr Fontana when he was at Target, Apple Valley. Really just looking for a Doc for an eye exam. Something wasnt right with my vision. I had been straining and having headaches for 2 years. Within minutes, Dr Fontana told me the glasses I had been wearing were the wrong prescription. He completed his exam and set me up with a pair of glasses that corrected everything. After he left Target, I looked for him and found him at the current location. I will go nowhere else. Dr. Fontana is knowledgeable, personal, and will take the time to explain and demonstrate any issues you may be having with your vision. He and the staff are real caring pros. Doctor Fontana is a "rock star".

I had my first visit to Eye 35 Eye Care recently and am so glad I switched from my previous eye care provider. Everyone on the office was professional, kind and fun to work with. I was impressed with the ease of check-in using tablet technology and option to have the high end eye pictures (sorry cant recall machine terminology) instead of getting those pesky drops which mess up your vision temporarily. Not having vision insurance I appreciated the reasonable fees as well (less than my last doc!) Thank you Dr. Fontana and staff. I look forward to sending my husband in very soon!

Dr. Fontana, and his staff are super-super-awesome! My family, and I love their clinic. The office is always warm, and inviting. They make sure we are comfortable, and attended to. When we are there we always need eye exams, and new glasses. I love the prices on the glasses. They’re so reasonable, and they are wonderful about explaining the prices, and show us what the insurance covers which makes it super-easy for us all. Thanks to Dr. Fontana & his staff for an superb service to this family of 4!

VA Choice sent me here and although it was quite a drive for myself, it was worth it. You check in and fill out your info via tablet. The woman that worked the front desk was very kind and the woman that checked me into the room did an excellent job. The Eye Doc himself was extremely personable, informative, professional and fast. Left with 3 different trials to try the new third gen contact lenses and even learned about the newer Acuvue Vita. Will return! Thank you.

The staff was just amazing to work with and really knew their stuff. They were friendly, funny, and timely with their orders! Dr. Fontana (probably misspelled that) is seriously one of the best eye doctors Ive been to for a long time and practically my whole family goes to him. He remembered me from way back when after 10 or so years not being under him. So I would definitely recommend this to everyone!

My wife and I have been going to Dr Fontana for years. Going to our appointments is more like catching up with an old friend then a doctors appointment and he doesnt even mind when I accuse him of being the reason I need glasses (I didnt get them until I saw him). Of course the fact that I couldnt see my computer screen before my visit has nothing to do with it.

The doctor was great, Unfortunately, if you select a frame which has been discontinued, you are liable for the lens replacement cost. Apple Valley Eye Care stand by their the product they sell and will honor a discounted frame replacement. I would highly recommend going to Apple Valley Eye Care.
