I originally injured my back on Dec 15th, 2008 while serving overseas with the Marine Corps. At the time, I remember thinking that my career would be cut short due to the severity of the injury, and the pain that I was in. Although my symptoms eventually subsided, and I was able to return to normal activity (with cautious apprehension), every few months I would have a “flare up” that felt crippling! When this happened, I would rest, ice, and usually self-medicate to help find immediate relief, but eventually this tactic no longer worked. In 2013, the pain in my legs, and lower back was constant, and inhibited my every move, so I decided to go in and see my doctor (not sure what I was waiting for); the MRI showed: 1. At L4-L5, there is a diffuse disc bulge with a central to right paracentral disc protrusion which causes moderate narrowing of the right neural foramina. The disc also impinges on the traversing right L5 nerve root displacing it posteriorly. 2. At L3-L4, there is a diffuse disc bulge eccentric to the left with a foraminal to lateral annular tear. There is also moderate narrowing of the left neural foramina. 3. There are also degenerative changes at L5-S1 with loss of T2 signal and loss of disc height. There is a diffuse disc bulge eccentric to the left without definite neural impingement at this level. I went to physical therapy, had steroid treatments, and even tried acupuncture, all with minimal relief. From there, I met with a surgeon to discuss corrective options; I was apprehensive to say the least! I had heard countless horror stories of surgeries gone wrong, and talked to people that were on their 3rd and 4th surgery to help find the relief they were looking for. By a stroke of luck, my wife recommended that I give Neubauer Chiropractic a shot before going under the knife; this ended up being one of the wisest decisions of my life. I’ve been seeing the Neubauer team for the last couple of years, and I’m proud to say that they’ve helped restore my back health to better than 95% (my estimation). They’ve advised me on physical fitness options, given me nutritional advice, and helped foster a holistic approach to wellness. I’m now able to run again, play sports with the kids, and overall just have a better quality of life; I’ve even managed to lose a few pounds along the way! I highly recommend the Neubauer team to anyone considering surgery, in pain for any reason, or just looking for wellness advice! Nate McIntosh

It took me a while to realize that chiropractic care was right for me. I started having neck and upper back problems after about 3 years into my professional career. I was working downtown Minneapolis at the time and one of my clients happened to be a chiropractor near my office. I explained to him how I was feeling and he recommended I come in for an analysis. He took some x-ray’s among some other tests and I found out that I my spine had signs of arthritis and I did not have a proper curve in my neck. I was taken aback as I had never, up until that point, considered that this would be a problem at age 26 but due to wearing suits and ties and improper monitor placement my problems were accelerating. I started chiropractic care that week and have continued since then. I accepted a new job out in Waconia and I was worried that I wasn’t going to be able to find a chiropractic team that would do as good of a job as my former chiropractor did. I heard about Dr. Dan and his team at Neubauer Chiropractic and I went in to see them. It was a very simple and straightforward process working with them and I trusted them immediately. Seeing their team has kept my problems at bay and helped heal my back and neck. I am very grateful for their care and expertise. I highly recommend Dr. Dan and his team for any and all chiropractic needs. I know they will have the same effect on anyone that goes to see them.

Ive been going to Neubauer Chiropractic every two weeks for 20 years. I started when I was 16 years old. I have since married and have children. My husband and children are also on the wellness program. I have watched chiropractic care keep my children healthy. I have never had to deal with ear infections and common childhood illnesses are fought off quickly - within 24 hrs. It has also helpe to heal our bodies from dance and gymnastic injuries. It has taken away my husbands chronic headaches. The time I remember loving it the most was when I was pregnant. It helped with back pain and whenever I would have a bout of sciatica I would make a run to the chiropractor and with an easy adjustment we would have it fixed. I feel as though the doctors are truly there to take care of us. They seem to do a good job scheduling enough time for each of their patients because I have never felt rushed or pushed to move out so the next patient can come in. They are very knowledgeable on a healthy lifestyle. Youre not just there to give adjustments but they are there to help you be healthy in every area of your life. They have also helped me when I needed an advocate to approach medical doctors. I have stories about stories and I cant say enough good things.

I have gone to a couple different Chiropractors in the past and had no complaints and think they did a great job. However, this summer I had some issues with my back with baseball and golf. I went in and did a consultation with Dr. Dan at Neubauer Chiropractic as I live in Waconia now. It was amazing what the scan of my back showed and how my back was extremely stressed and far from 100%. Dr. Dan went over my options and some plans to try to help me get back to baseball and golf; what I love to do. Long story short I got back to my sports and started feeling 100% again. Dr. Dan did an unreal job adjusting me and I couldnt be more happy about that. I have now signed up for their wellness program. This is great cause I want to take care of my body year round and avoid those major pain injuries. This has helped me accomplish this. Dr. Dan and Dr. Matt do an excellent job of explaining what they are doing and helping when adjusting you. It is an unreal atmosphere in there and the staff couldnt be more nice. Everyone there all around does a great job and I highly recommend to anyone that this is the place to go for chiropractic care.

I recently threw out my back and, of course, it was in the middle of the night on a Friday. I procrastinated treatment the entire next morning until my husband forced me to go and get seen. He called into Neubauer chiropractic center minutes before they were about to close. They offered (we didnt even ask) without hesitation to stay open and wait for me to arrive. Upon arrival, Dr. Matt evaluated my back and explained the issue, it great detail - which I appreciated so much!! He gave me multiple options for treatment plans and communicated all of the important information so that I could make the best decision for me. It was absolutely terrific! This was the third time I have had this issue with my back and was, by far, the fastest and most comfortable recovery I have had. The treatments and PT are exceptional, the doctors and therapists are amazing, gracious, talented and always welcome you with a smile. As a prior chiropractic skeptic...I would 100% recommend Neubauer to anyone and everyone. Kate Shelly
