What I like about Gautier Animal Clinic is that I know theyre caring people who genuinely love animals and are very experienced. I have 2 large dogs--one who has "medical mysteries" that crop up (Kodi) and another with leg & hip problems (Lola). I think what I appreciate most about Dr. Gulas is that he takes the time to really think about Kodis latest medical mystery, will research it, considers all options for causes, and then find a treatment thats most beneficial for her and least expense to me. In my experience, some vets will make a quick diagnosis, I end up spending more money than necessary, and Kodis still no better off. I would much rather have a vet that takes a couple of days to research a non-urgent issue than one that goes right to the most common conclusion. To me, that shows hes conscientious about giving my dog the best care possible. I like the gang at Gautier Animal Clinic. The staff are great! Ive been to practices across the country where staffs are not so great---giving off a vibe of not liking the animals or their job, using a rough hand with your pet, and the front desk staff unfriendly. That is NOT the case with the staff at Gautier Animal Clinic. My impression of the staff is that they genuinely care about animals, are conscientious about the anxiety a dog or cat is experiencing and they treat them with loving care and calm. And with pet parents, theyre friendly, fun, and make you feel welcome. Theyre a small practice and I think thats a benefit... With some of the larger clinics, its become all about business--recommending unnecessary tests and promoting products to increase profits. And too often they lack a sense of genuinely caring about you or your animal. With a small clinic, you deal with a small staff who you get to know and your pet well and are focused on the care and personal service they provide. Im glad I found them :)

I have taken all of my animals (and I have many!) for the past approximately 40 years to Gautier Animal Clinic for all of their medical or boarding needs. I started with Dr. McDevitt, and after his death I have continued with Dr. Gulas. The most important factor to me in selecting a veterinarian is that they genuinely care about the animals they treat. I recently had a seriously ill cat who was refusing to eat, and Dr. Gulas was sitting on the floor feeding him by hand for days. That said a lot to me. When I go in over there, i am immediately greeted with concern if I have a sick animal, and this concern comes from the entire staff as well as Dr. Gulas himself. Over the years I have recommended Gautier Animal Clinic to several friends who have also begun taking their animals there, and those friends have continued to use the clinic for their pets needs. I would without hesitation recommend Gautier Animal Clinic.

I moved to Ocean Springs a few months ago and have been searching and searching for the right vet for my dog and cat. After trying several places in the area, I found that Gautier Animal Clinic was exactly the vet Ive been looking for! Their team was exceptionally friendly, professional, and timely in everything they did, but above all else I could tell that their hearts where in the right place for both my animals AND myself! I was very open with Dr. Jason about the fact that I cannot afford the most expensive medications and services for my animals. To my relief, instead of turning his nose up at me as so many vets would, he worked WITH me to help me get EVERYTHING I needed for my pets at a price that I could easily afford. This clinic will have my business and loyalty from here on out!

I want to take this time to express my appreciation to "The Gautier Animal Clinic". My baby had been very sick and my good friend and veterinarian, Dr. McDevitt and his wife and daughter, took great care in not only my baby, Scooter, but me as well. Scooter loves them. Now there is another special Doctor, who continues the legacy of Dr. McDevitt and his name is Dr. Gulas. Thank you for having a place in Gautier that I can take Scooter and be confident that they will take very good care of my sweetie!

The entire staff at Gautier Animal Clinic is just Awesome!!! There is no other way to describe them. They all genuinely love and care for all animals and they understand how much our "children" mean to us. If you are looking for a place to take your pet for care, checkups or boarding, this is the place to go!!! If you are looking for a Vet for your pet, this is the place to take your "baby" for some true babying!!!! They always care, and they truly understand how much we love our pets.

the clinic does not provide prescriptions for heart worm medicine for use outside of their clinic. ie.. petco, foster and smith or other medicine carriers. im currently traveling and have to pay another vet for another heart worm test because of this clinics policy. they also tend to try and push their personal views onto others. if you care about your pets and want what you pay for go to another vet.this clinic is overpriced for the little they do.

Simply the best! Dr Gulas and every single person on staff continue Dr McDevits mission with professionalism, care, and compassion. They have always been there for our whole family through every stage of our fur babies lives! They have celebrated each new member that has joined our eclectic family and mourned with us when they walked across the rainbow bridge. Wonderful practice, awesome people!

We moved from Idaho and thought wed never find a vet as good as our one in Idaho. Gautier Animal Clinic exceeded all our hopes! Great care of our Dachshund. Very friendly staff. And good facilities. My family has used Gautier Animal Clinic for many years. I own 5 dogs and 3 cats... the staff and Vet genuinely care about my babies and show it. I can call any time, day or night if necessary. I feel very comfortable with everyone at the Clinic and will happily drive over an hour away just so my babies get the care they deserve.

We have used Dr. Gulas for several years and they provide excellent care for our Jack Russell Terrier. Also the staff does an excellent job caring for the animals. They also board our dog when we go on vacation and they take good care of our dog. We highly recommend using them.
