You have to go to McCabe dental - they are amazing. I am always hesitant to use a dentist if they have no reviews but I lost a filling and was in a ton of pain and need and in network dentist asap. McCabe dentistry was such a lucky find! The receptionist was pleasant over the phone. When I arrived they were super helpful even though I was that annoying person whose insurance was brand new and didnt have her insurance paperwork because my provider was snowed in. They worked extremely hard to get in touch with the insurance company because I need a root canal and they genuinely didnt want me to pay out of pocket. We ended the appointment saying we would wait because my pain subsided BUT if I ended up in any pain whatsoever -they would see me last minute no exceptions because my dentist Michael McCabe does not like his patience to be in pain. During the appointment he was warm but honest and really cared. The dental assistant was engaging and professional as well. The office itself is very clean, overlooks the water from the waiting room and the patient rooms and has flat screen TV that they try to change to something you will like. I HATED going to the dentist and was very nervous BUT this changed my whole outlook on the experience because I left feeling like I was in capable hands, and that they were never going to over charge me.

My first visit was 03/05/2015. I live in Picayune, MS but the closest dentist that would accept my insurance was the McCabe Dental Clinic in Gulfport, MS. I arrived to find a pleasant, comfortable office that was staffed with a pleasant, polite, and very helpful staff. I was seen by Dr. Michael McCabe DDS. His friendly demeanor almost instantly put me at ease. He actually had the time to spend a few minutes just getting to know me. Its a wonderful feeling to be treated as a person and, not just a number, to treat and dismiss. The exam went well and my treatment planned and performed very well. The office staff scheduled my follow-up appoint to coincide with a routine cleaning to accommodate a single trip instead of multiple hour and fifteen minute one-way drives. My wife and I have found our new dental home. I will gladly make the drive to and from to remain a patient.
