To say our dog (and us) LOVES Carter Pet Hospital is an understatement! From the moment we brought our baby bulldog Stevie into Carter, almost a year ago, they treated us like family! This was our first time owning a Bulldog breed, and everyone from the receptionists, to the vet techs, and the veterinarians themselves have given us so much love, care, and information about raising and caring for our very spoiled boy! Unfortunately with the breed comes many different illnesses and health problems; and with puppyhood comes lots of mischievous play and sometimes injury. We have been to Carter for everything from allergies to staples in his leg from a bad cut, and I can not express enough how comfortable we feel when we walk into that door! Stevie had a recent scare when the rope toy he had been playing with caused an obstruction in his intestines. He was the sickest weve ever seen he was not his normal happy go lucky self at all, he really scared us. But as soon as we pulled into the parking lot at Carter he started shaking with excitement, and couldnt run inside fast enough! I have never felt so comfortable leaving my dog with people before! I know they treat him as their own and we are so thankful! We are SO LUCKY to have found such an amazing team of people to help us raise and care for our fur baby! All we have to do is ask Stevie if hes ready to go see Taylor (his gf at Carter) and the Doctors and he is sitting by the door smiling ear to ear ready to go! Thank you so much for everything you do for us and Stevie!

My husband brought my otherwise healthy German Shepard in about a month ago for what we though was constipation. No blood work or xray was done. This past Saturday one day after her 7th birthday she died in our house. We took her to a different vet who performed an autoposy and it was discovered she had a bladder infection that because it was untreated turned into a kidney infection that got into her blood and her kidneys quit working and she is gone. If blood work had been done the infection would most likely have been caught and antibiotics could have been started, would it have still gotten to this point I dont know but there is a good chance she would not be dead right now. My baby is gone and more than likely her death could have been prevented. I also want to add earlier this year we were told by 2 different vets there to put our 10 year male Shepard down, when at the time he was still healthy. I will never step foot in this building again-nothing can bring back my Bretta but a little bit of due dillagence on the initial visit and she might still be here with me. Now all I will have is a box with her ashes. Please dont take your pets there, nobody should have to feel the way that I do now or have to go home to an empty house like I do because my Bretta is gone way too soon. She had many more years ahead of her and we and her were robbed of that.

Dr Carter had been our furkids only vet from the time they were kittens and he was still with All Creatures. When he built the new clinic on Hwy N, we moved with him. With his retirement, Drs. Hart and Bonstead our our kids main vets now, and we couldnt be happier with how they care for our girls. They, as well as all the vet techs and reception staff are caring, conscientious and take time with each and every client. We never feel rushed or like were being a nuisance when we ask questions about our kids care. Overall, were very happy with the quality of care our furkids receive.

We had to euthanize our dog on a Saturday when all the appointments were booked, so they had to fit us in. Dr. Bonstead was very patient and took her time explaining each stage of the process, never acting rushed. The tech was very kind and considerate also. Ive taken 4 of our dogs and some fosters to Carter Pet Hospital for years and Ive had some issues, as you would expect, so I dont flippantly give a 5 star rating. Dr. Hart is our regular doc and she rocks!

We have taken our Fur Babies to Carter Pet Hospital for Years. The Vets are the best and the Vet techs treat your Fur baby like its there own. The last time I was in the office the vet actually came and sat on the floor with my Klyde for his examination. To me that was Awesome that she would make him feel more comfortable sitting on the floor then on the exam table. I tell everyone to take there pets there for the Best Care Around.

Dr. Bonstead was very professional, thorough, and quick, despite the office being busy that day. She understands how a pet parent feels when bringing your fur baby to the vet. She even gave me handouts to have concerning my dogs symptoms. She took the time to explain to me what was going on with my pet. I can tell that she cares very much about animals as well as people. I was very impressed with her.

We love Carter Pet Hospital! I am fairly new to the area, so I have only taken my dogs there once, but I have had to call in a couple of times with questions and the staff at Carter are always happy to help. Their facility is clean and the waiting room is nice and spacious. The doctors and staff are knowledgeable and friendly, and truly care about your pets health. They really do a great job.

Carter Pet Hospital is a joke. They are very bad at what they do. The reason i will never be going back is due to the fact that they have been wrong about the illness, and have given bad advice about my pets on the multiple times i have been there. i would not recommend this to anybody. Whenever i went there i seemed to be rush and the doctor seemed to not know what he was looking at.

Everyone at Carter Pet Hospital cares about our dogs, from office staff to techs and vets. They have cared for all of our dogs through sickness and health and provide true care for the animals (and us owners/parents). We would recommend Carter to anyone who loves their pets like family and expects nothing but the best. Everyone on the staff is helpful, kind, and professional.

A great group of caring individuals! Friendly and knowledgeable staff! The facilities are spacious and clean. We have three dogs and a cat and have only had good experiences here. When it came time to have to say goodbye to our 13 year old doxie, the compassion shown us was much appreciated. I highly recommend Carters for excellent care of your fur baby needs.

The best!! They had a coupon so our first visit was no charge for the appointment itself. Got us in the same day. Did not press me for unnecessary X-rays. We got visit, meds and 4 doses of front line $58! They were fast, listened to us and took such good care of my cat. Theyve won me over 100%!!! Keep up the great job guys!

I have been taking our pets here for several years and very happy with the attention and care they provide. I appreciate that extras arent pushed to drive up the price. I recently had to put one of my babies to sleep and appreciated the way in which it was handled. I will continue to recommend this vet.
