I have been with Banfield for many years. At first it was a benefit. It seems Im paying more for something Im not sure is worth the value. I just started going to this vet. My first visit was good. Then my dog started getting really sick. I went in again and spent $100 on meds that ended up hurting my dog more. I refuse to give him meds that pain him. I called to talk to the vet and staff about finding an alternative treatment program and getting a credit for medicine I cant use. They refused. I get that they cant use the meds since its been dispersed, but Im willing to pay more money just to find a solution that actually works. Its not just the money, but the lack of genuine caring for my pet. Im going to a vet for solutions...but every time I go back to banfield I feel Im being raked over the coals to spend more money in addition to the monthly plan. I drive almost 2 hours just to get no answers. Im beyond done with this. Ive asked for a solution, but Im being treated like a pain in their side. I wont be returning unless my dog starts getting cared for in the way that he deserves and we start working towards solutions together. I refuse to pay for meds that hurt my dog. If your treatment doesnt work, then I shouldnt have to pay for it. Period.

I live out in Foristell, so this location was extremely convenient for me. However, that is the only positive thing I can say about this particular Banfield. I continued to go to this location due to its convenience, and each time I went in I was made to wait 45 minutes to an hour...EVERY TIME. Each time I had an appointment as well...so I am not sure what the point was of even making an appointment when I waited so long each visit. After completing an exam, or giving shots, my dogs were NEVER given a treat...one of my dogs would even go wait over by the counter asking for one and she would ignore him!! Each visit I only spoke with the vet for less than five minutes after being made to wait so long. It seemed all she wanted to do was get money out of me...continually run tests on my dogs, and give me EXPENSIVE medicines when they couldnt actually diagnose the problem. She does not care about the pets that come into her office. I will never go back. From now on I will drive my dogs all the way to the Saint Charles location in order to receive proper care for my pets, which is about a 35 minute drive for me, but its worth it. I will never go back to this clinic.
