Ive been taking my cat and dog here since they were both 3 months old... two weeks ago I brought my dog in because I believed he contracted kennel cough from a kennel facility.. his first time EVER being in a kennel not at home. I asked if he could pass that to my cat or if he could have picked up anything else that could pass to my cat and I was told no. Dogs cant pass sickness to cats and vice versa.... well now my cat got sick. My dog has been sick and has been treated but now my cat is sick. Im pissed off because my cat could have been prescribed something to prevent him from getting sick. Hes an indoor cat and has not been around any other animals except my dog.... so how in the hell is he sick if he couldnt have gotten it from my dog?!??! Now another $50 vet visit plus any medications he will need... its hard to afford it right now when two weeks ago it should have been taken care of and could have afforded it.

Jalana at the front desk is friendly and empathetic AND professional, I had an amazing cat who was dumped and found me..She was pregnant I have two cats who of course are my furry kids.I took her in, I took care of her and her kittens. I had gone to other Humane places and they were rude.Condicending and rediculous.The kittens are beautiful and so was mama.She made me feel comfortable and I kept one of the kittens.I know they do not promise adoption but again Jalana was professional and made me feel good about my decision.Tomarrow is Cat Appreciation day ! Go adopt my friend and her kittens !

Nice, big and new. The people were helpful and friendly. My only complaint would be the cleanliness. Most of the pens had urine and feces in them and there were puddles of urine on the floor outside the pens as well. We were there a good half an hour and no one came to clean the messes up.

i am so pleased with the service and follow up we get from the Maryland Heights Humane Society! I brag about them to everyone!! The new facility is awesome, and the staff is incredible! Baby and Buddy say thanks for all the great care...even when they are a little nervous!

What a wonderful new facility! Everyone is so nice and took such good care of my dog. I feel so lucky that this beautiful building filled with such good people is right near my home. Thank you to everyone who spent time and money to make this happen. LOVE IT!
