I took my 1 year old cat here on October 20th to get him neutered. We got there right as they opened at 730am, we didnt have a kennel for him so he was just hanging out, we thought theyd take him immediately to the back but we had to wait 20 minutes for a vet tech to come out, finally when she did instead of bringing us to a secure location she tried to go over paperwork right there in the lobby, an owner brought his dog in, the dog was a very hyper dog and he was rushing towards my cat as the owner was using all his strength to hold him back, my cat got scared and hissed.. My finace replied to the tech that our cat has never seen a dog before and he asked to carry him to the back, the tech said he couldnt gi back there and so she scooped our cat up and said shed take him, even though he was clearly hissing and very scared.. Our cat ended up scatching and or biting her. Animal control stated that because he didnt have his rabie shots yet (he was recieving them that day) that he had to be quarantined for 10 days at the vets office and we would be charged. The owner was willing to work out payments and was suppose to call us multiple times but never did. So, they continued with his procedure and did the neuter and said we would be able to pick him up in ten days and that we could visit and that he wouldnt be locked in a cage and would have room. A few days later we tried to go visit him and they said we couldnt see him and they also said he couldnt come out of his cage, we were disappointed with being lied to and decided to give them his baby blanket to let him sleep with. The day came for us to pick him up and he seemed very outof it at first, i thought he was just drugged still from the ferimones he recieved to calm his nerves. As soon as he got in our car he puked and he continued puking a few other times that day, he was very tired and just laid there and wouldnt move or play or even eat or drink, our Other cat really wanted to play and he just ignored her. He has always been a very playful and loving cat. He loved toys and cuddling in bed and running water but he didnt have any energy. I waited until the next day and called the vet and told her that he has been sick since we picked him up, she stated that he was fine the whole time and that he wasnt sick when he left, even though he got sick there, they even told me to wash his blanket because he "threw up on it" and when i mentioned that she stated that that morning was the first time he had throwr up.. Well clearly he still got sick there!!! They wouldnt let me bring him back unless we had 95 bucks even though he got sick in their care. We picked him up yeaterday and ended up taking him to bridger vetinary today, she was willing to see him right away and willing to help us.. He died on her table 5 minutes after being there, we still dont know what the cause was. I wouldnt suggest taking your animals to valley, yes he was a cat but he was our family and he was still just a baby and now hes gone. RIP Dr. Greyson, we love you buddy.

I brought my Labrador Retriever in to see Tia Nelson to get a homeopathic consultation to help manage pain he was having from arthritis. She performed chiropractic manipulations on his neck and back. The next day (Sunday), I noticed he was dragging his back hind leg. I called the office immediately on Monday to speak with her, but she was out that day. I left a message for her with the receptionist to please have her call me to discuss this new symptom that occurred following the visit. She never called me back. I called again about a week later because my dog was becoming increasingly worse and my current vet wanted to know which vertebrae were manipulated. I told the receptionist at Valley Vet that Tia still has not called me. Her response to me was unsatisfactory.... maybe heard a "huh." Three weeks after we saw Tia, my dog was suffering too much, and he was euthanized because of complications due to spinal cord paralysis likely due to trauma. While Ill never know what caused this "trauma", I am heartsick that (1) my beautiful, vibrant dog is gone and (2) I never received a call despite my contacting this vet clinic twice. It was a horrifying experience for both my dog and me. Run, dont walk, and find a vet in Helena who demonstrates care, compassion, along with excellent communication regarding your animals care. Thankfully, there are plenty of good vets in Helena. There is NO excuse why my calls were not returned.

The staff at Valley Vet is always incredible and understanding. I have worked with Dr. Tia Nelson or Dr. Costley for my pet (dogs) needs for years and with Molly for grooming and other things. Today was no exception. Dr. Tia helped my Weimaraner Sunny so much today when she was in a lot of pain and showing signs of stress. Today she performed Chiropractic treatment on Sunny from head to toe and the instant relief on Sunnys face as well as her demeanor was priceless. I was so relieved and I could see that Dr. Tia was as well! I am looking forward to adding this service monthly for my precious dog and soul mate. Thank you again Valley Vet!

Very professional and caring vets. Ive seen all three vets in the office for various routine and emergency services for my dog, and I have been very happy.

The doctor focuss on the health of the pet and not on the amount of shots the vet can give.
