I went to the bluepearl hospital on Sunday Sep 3 with my dog. I got home that day and I found my dog in his bed not responding to commands and he was lethargic. I took him to this hospital I explain that the dog was find a day before but he had stop eating and drinking water. I had a person or get tech come into the lobby and ask for my dog I explain him the situation and he tock the dog to the back. After 35 to 40 minutes later he came out and told me that the dog was in lots of pain and they were asking me if I can approve to have them give my dog some pain medication. At this point I said yes because I did not want him to suffer pain. After other 45 minutes they call me into the room. After waiting for 15 minuets the doctor show up and start asking me questions about the dog and told me that she think that the dog had a problem in his hip or back let bone. At this time I start questioning the vet because I told her that I had rescued the dog 7 years ago and he was abused with a stick and the way his leg was we normal. Also I told her that the dog was not eating and drinking water and she said is normal because the pain. Know my dog had NO PAIN when I bring him to the hospital because I was caring him in my arms and he never complaint about pain. At this point I start asking more questions she also told me that he had blood on his rectum with I ask and she said it can be because the pain. Also for the reference the vet that help me was really sick she was coughing and coughing really bad and you can see that she was not all there. She keep focusing on my dog having a problem in the hip so I carved my stuff and left after paying a high amount. I when I took my dog to another vet next day and a soon has he saw my doe he immediately told me that there was nothing bad with the leg and that he eader had an ulser because de bright red blood in the stool. He really did everything he good for my dog but he end up pasing away the next morning. In his opinion he said that that was something that she good have diagnose because the symptoms of the dog and also all the signs. I am so upset that I made the decision to take my dog to this place. Also on how sick the doctor was. Please be aware of this place. The only good thing was the other nurse that help me i forgot her name that actually you can see that she did not agree with the diagnostic this doctor did. I will always regret this decision.

If possible, I would leave a negative star rating! I brought my cat in because he had been throwing up and just didnt seem to be feeling like himself. I was referred here by my regular vets office and they are going to get a tongue lashing for that one. By all appearance, it looks to be quite professional yet stick around and you will see the dark seedy underside of this place. After spending more than 9 hours in the waiting room over a period of 2 days, you see quite a bit. After the tests, medication, surgery and aftercare, I spent approximately $7,000, which I neatly counted out in $100 bills on the counter. At that point, they couldnt do enough for me. Although make sure to get a receipt, because after handing over the $4300 for surgery, they conveniently forgot to include that. Fast forward to 2 days later..... My cat still isnt eating and they wanted to keep him an additional day. I had paid through the first nights stay, but he had been there already almost another 2. He was not eating on his own and thats why they wanted to keep him. I had spoken with the Veterinarian on duty, Dr. Veale, and explained to her that he only eats dry kibble, not the moist food being offered to him. Later that night, I get a call from the receptionist, who rather rudely explained to me that even after applying the $700 credit from the surgeon, I was going to owe them an additional $981 for his nights stay. I needed to pay immediately by credit card. I will say at the least, I was offended! Why in the hell would I give you 7 GRAND CASH, and then skip out on $900? Are you kidding me? I opted to pick up my cat, which turned out to be the best thing for him. He was eating away within 10 minutes of getting home. That receptionist who felt the need to treat me like I was a beggar, is damn lucky that I had a firm control of myself, because she would have needed a nose job to fix the aftermath of my displeasure!!!! There are way more compassionate emergency vet services available in the East Valley, not to mention more affordable. These people, use the same strong arm tactics that got the Mob in trouble. Because the customers are very emotional, they are more susceptible to being beaten into submission. Poor customer service, overinflated prices and low quality staff is about the extent of what you will find here!

I went in with a 6 day old puppy that was dehydrated. The vet tech came out and I told her that she needed fluids right away. She said they cant do anything until the vet saw her and there was three ahead of me. I had no idea that meant it would take 3 hours to see me. An hour visit per dog for an emergency clinic? They supposedly take in animals based on the urgency of issues presented. Which should have meant my puppy move to the first of the line. Theyre not doing that is pure incompetence. Surely the dog with a UTI next to me should not have gone before me. That was not a life-or-death situation. Meanwhile Im patiently waiting inquiring and praying they get to my puppy soon. Finally after checking in at 7:20 and then after 10 p.m. my puppys dead. I was under the impression they were tending to her as they had said her vitals were good. That the vet just didnt have time to meet with me to report her condition but had seen the pup. A dehydrated puppy needs fluids right away. Who doesnt know that. Im sure the vet had told them that the puppy should have been moved to the front of the line. Had she been given her fluids right away I believe shed still be alive. Plus the story about when she died doesnt add up. If she had been kept warm then why was she really cold and stiff. They asked if I wanted CPR performed on her yet not five minutes later she was presented to me in this condition. I recently dead pup would be lax, limp and mildly cold (without having been kept warm). She was ice cold. I feel she had been dead longer. I wish I had made a huge scene and demanded urgency. I just assumed this is an emergency vet office theyre the experts and they were tending to her needs and would work through the dogs faster. They simply just left her to suffer and die alone. I have to live with not having done more or taken her some where else. Its a terrible feeling. Their staff is clearly not knowledgeable or properly trained to decipher what constitutes immediate attention and what doesnt. A dying pup is immediate attention. You dont take the consideration of what people will think if you take in another pet after theyve been there awhile. You take in the worst case first to save that life. Your there to save lives and nothing else if possible. They just arent properly trained.
