Holistic Essentials

Horrible. Dr. Leavitt was completely unprofessional, arrogant, accusing, and down right rude when the graft he attempted, failed. Instead of immediately addressing my concerns that the graft had failed, I was left for almost 4 whole days with dead, rotting cadaver gum just barely stitched in my mouth. The stench alone wouldve made anyone cringe. I am filing a lawsuit for negligence. His after surgery care was reprehensible. There was none, basically. First of all, I had to call about 40 times before he answered his "emergency line." Finally, 12 hours later, He told me i had to wait until Monday and there was no one on call. Horrible experience .. Not to mention ... I dont know what kind of office gives post op care instructions IMMEDIATELY AFTER your surgery. Ive always thought you give patients all that long before the procedure is done because after surgery patients arent "all there." Ive had grafts done before without any issues. I truly believe it was because of his negligence. Also, I was never given info on all the differing kinds of grafts; he simply said "what we offer here is ..." Instead of, "here are all your different options, which one is best fitting for you?" Having been in the medical field Im aware that thats not Appropriate. Patient education is first and foremost, not just " come here and pay me cuz this is what I offer." Total jerk .

I was originally referred by my dentist to another periodontist. The experience fell short to what I was expecting. I then found Dr. Leavitt on the internet. The entire staff is amazing. It was a total opposite experience then what I had with the other place. The office was very modern and beautiful. Dr. Leavitt explained everything that needed to be done to replace some missing teeth which included a sinus bone graft. I scheduled the surgery and everything went perfect. Dr. Leavitt put me to sleep and I had zero pain. He placed 6 implants and I now have a full set of teeth. Everything looks great. I can finally chew food again and my smile is amazing. I recommend Dr Leavitt and his staff to anyone needing implants.

Dr. Leavitt and his staff actually LISTEN to the patient! There are no condescending tones from anyone on the staff and everybody is very respectful. No one laughs at a patients fears! He knew from the beginning that I am a scaredy cat when it comes to dental work. He was very professional while making me feel at ease as he was placing the I. V. The next thing I knew, I was waking up and the bone graft was complete. I will indeed go back to Dr. Leavitt when I am ready to have single implants. I highly recommend Dr. Leavitt and the staff at Red Rock Periodontics & Implantology to anyone interested in high quality periodontics and implants.

Dr. Leavitt and his staff are very professional and courteous. I was referred to him by my dentist, and am very glad that this is where I was sent to. Everyone at Red Rock Perio. is very friendly, and you can tell they genuinely care about the patients and what they do. Most of the time when you go to the doctor, you wonder how long you are going to have to wait around, when you walk in there you are greeted instantly, and in and out in a very timely manner. Would definitely refer them to friends and family.

My first implant was just completed this week with a crown in place. I am very happy feeling I have a tooth again. It has been several months since Dr>. Leavitt first extracted #3 & #14. I decided to get the implant on #3 first. Dr. Leavitt did it in May. Everyone in the office from the administrative staff to the dental assistants and of course, Dr. Leavitt have been incredibly caring, helpful and professional. I am looking forward to completing #14! It was a team effort since I had to wear braces for a year first, before Dr. Leavitt could perform the procedure. Courteous, friendly and professional staff. Few months ago Dr. Leavitt performed Gum surgery and Bone grafting. So far everything seems to be healing just as expected.
