I called this office and spoke with the office manager making it clear that I was interested in getting an "estimate" for a chipped tooth as I had just paid for a repair back in CO that hadnt held two weeks prior. She said that I needed to come in and see the doctor for an estimate because she couldnt quote an amount over the phone. I arrived on time to find the doctor on his cell phone out near the parking lot. I waited fifteen minutes while he talked on his phone and then when he came back in, I waited another twenty minutes until he came in to see me. He sat down in a chair a couple of feet away from me and looked from that distance at the tooth and then told the assistant what he thought he would need to do to repair it. He was in the room for no more than two minutes and then left. The assistant came back with what was a very high quote in my opinion, so I thanked her and left. Today I received a bill in the mail from them for $78 for an office "exam." I was taken aback as all I had requested was a "quote" and in no way did this dentist perform an "exam" on me. When I requested a "quote" from the office manager when we originally spoke at no time did she ever mention there would be a charge for a quote, which they conveniently and unethically, in my opinion classified as an "exam." I have had exams with physicians before, this was no exam and again he only spent "two" minutes in the room. When I brought the bill in to discuss it with the doctor he was rude and dismissive stating that I should always expect that any time I enter a doctors office I should expect to pay for an exam, period. One more time, an exam was never performed and all I had requested was a quote. I went to a more established dentist in La Quinta the next day who was very reasonable and very professional. I would recommend that you look elsewhere, too.

Dr. Kelsey and his staff have always been very accommodating, professional, and cordial. I received the very best in dental care. Dr. Kelsey has also been very sensitive and considerate to any issue which arose. I highly recommend Dr. Kelsey and Bliss Dentistry!!

Wonderful Dr. And Staff. I had a great experience at this practice. The staff was friendly and helpful and the Dentist spent time with me and really explained everything. I am so grateful that I was refferred to this dentist by my friend!

Staff was very professional and friendly. Dr. Kelsey was attentive and not rushed. Explanations were clear and to the point. Office was very clean and modern.
