Ive been relying on Dr Berkeypile for all of my dental care since 1999. With the benefit of 15 years of hindsight, coming to Dr. Berkeypile and staying is one of the best health and quality of life decisions Ive made. When I first started in 99 I was new to the area and just wanted to find a dentist to help me avoid cavities and bigger dental problems. Id had a lot of issues with my teeth over the previous 20 years and consequently got to observe a number of dentists. Dr. Berkeypile systematically improved my dental health over time with his ability to diagnose, prioritize, recommend options, and perform work of exceptional quality. After a while the dental issues were gone but I also noticed an unintended result that my teeth and smile looked a lot better - I attribute this completely to Dr Bs attention to detail and professionalism because I never even asked for it, it just happened. Dr Berkeypile is without a doubt the best dentist Ive ever had - like other professionals he constantly invests in the latest technology and keeps up to date (I can say that since Ive been there for 15 years), but I think what really distinguishes him is his technical and artistic skill combined with an absolute commitment to do the right thing and to never take short cuts or make compromises with the dental health of his patients.

The ONLY dentist I recommend in NJ! Id been a patient of Dr. Berkeypiles since my family moved to Berkeley Heights in 1988. Due to an insurance change, I had to leave the practice for a couple years. One of the biggest regrets of my life. The other guy DESTROYED 2 teeth -- one couldnt be saved and had to be pulled; the other turned into an extensive root canal. Thankfully, my insurance upgraded again and I was able to go back to "Dr. B." I will NEVER let anyone else touch my mouth again. EVER! Dr. B. does the most extensive cleaning and oral exam. He educates you on exactly what is going on with your teeth. I went in complaining of a molar ache. He could have easily told me I needed a procedure worth thousands of dollars, just to make a quick buck. Instead, he took digital x-rays and showed me exactly what was going on in my mouth -- right there on the screen. He relieved the bite and said if I was still in pain, to come back. Hed remove the old filling and see if there is a crack underneath. A root canal would be our very last resort. Thankfully! His Office Manager/Assistant, Delia is one of the sweetest and most friendly ladies Ive ever met. She makes the entire experience warm and inviting. If you need a dentist in Berkeley Heights, I highly recommend Dr. Berkeypile.

I am a dentist and also privileged to a patient of Dr. Berkeypile. Dr. Berkeypile’s attention to details and emphasis on the quality of his work is why I chose him to be my dentist among my dentist friends. He is friendly and considerate and cares about the overall well-being of his patients. He recently completed a complex procedure on my lower back teeth. Filling the back teeth is not an easy task. A few common challenges are: 1. The teeth must be kept dry throughout the procedure despite the presence of saliva/blood for the filling material to set properly. 2. Contact positions between the teeth must be created in their correct anatomical position to avoid food impaction between teeth. 3. The filling material must be sculpted to resemble that of the natural teeth. This is important to achieve a clinically correct bite. 4. The aesthetic considerations: everything should look good at the end. I should also mention that the anesthesia administration was as comfortable as it gets (yes, I am nervous about the shot too!) I am going to enjoy my newly restored teeth for years to come. Thank you Dr. B! Dr. Abbasi

Finally, after quite some time looking for a GREAT dentist (and having been to some not so good ones…), I feel I have found the right one! Dr. Berkeypile makes you feel at all times that you are getting the best possible treatment for your dental needs. I came to him with a different number of issues and he has provided a comprehensive solution to each of them. He removed some old fillings, corrected cracks and filled them in such a beautiful way that it seems as if it was the real thing. Not even once I have had to go back with an issue. To complement it, the dental care is done together with the most advance media technology that allows the patient to be involved with the treatment at all times (high-def cameras). I can’t say how relieved I am to have him around in my neighbourhood looking after me and my family. Having said this, the highlight is how wonderful he and his staff makes patients feel, for everything, from getting the appointment to teaching the basics of oral care. Totally recommended!!

Dr. Berkeypile has been my dentist for the past fifteen years. He is most thorough. As well, he takes his time to explain what he is doing, and its reasoning, while he is working. My young children also use Dr. Berkelypile for their cleanings and dental exams. In fact, Dr. Berekeypile was able to help diagnose my two month old son with tongue tie issues, when others were unable. I am ALWAYS greeted, whether on the phone or at the office, with a warm and caring dental assistant /receptionist. Delia Clemente goes out of her way to help get you the appointment you need, work with your insurance, and help you have a pleasant experience. She is even known to help watch young children in the waiting room so that one can have an undisturbed visit. It is her manner that truly makes a visit to the dentist unlike any other doctor in which I have visited. I recommend Dr. Berkeypile for all your dental needs.

Dr. Berkeypile has been our family dentist since we returned to the area in 1996. During those 17 years, “Dr. B” has taken excellent care of all our dental needs. In all his work, Dr. B and his staff are very professional, warm, friendly, and caring. Dr. B exhibits a tremendous commitment to excellence…..with a recent crown for Paulette, he tweaked the color twice to give her a perfect Jersey Smile! Also, he uses state of the art digital technology. Looking at x-rays and photographs on the flat screen is awesome and helps patients fully understand their dental conditions and treatment needs. Simply the best. Let me say that I have had had horrible experiences with dentists for 30+ years. I went to Dr. Berkeypile for an evaluation and to discuss treatment options. I have been there 3 times in the past few months and he has taken special care to attend to my apprehension. He makes the experience almost pleasant. He has a device for applying anesthesia called the wand. It applies anesthesia without needles. WITHOUT NEEDLES!! Just last night I had 2 teeth filled and bonded and my smile has never looked better. I am smiling for the first time in 30 years. Both because my smile looks better than ever and Dr. Berkeypile makes me so comfortable with dental work.

I came to Dr. Berkeypiles office 5 years ago when looking to have a tooth fixed. I have since remained with his office and couldnt be happier with my results. His kindness and precision have not only prompted me to continue with his office, but my 6 year old daughter is now his patient too. He takes the time and care to answer any of your questions and inform you of any upcoming needed work. Dr. Berkeypile is the best dentist that I have ever seen and continues to stay on top of new and upcoming technology. He provides his patients with a comfortable, and caring atmosphere, making for a more relaxed visit even if it is just for a cleaning.
