I only came once for a well patient physical and that was enough. The office staff was rude and offended when I asked how much time they were running behind. As a nurse, I understand medical facilities can run behind schedule... so just tell me already! What is the big deal? Then ended up being an hour behind, so I told them I would be outside on a work conference call and to come get me when they were ready for me. Well, I guess this was too much exercise for the girl at the desk b/c she told me that was "out of the question". So, I tured off the waiting room TV and took my call there. I WAS THE ONLY PERSON THERE... yet, the office staff started talking among themselves about my "actions". Perhaps if they did their work instead of complain about the patients, they would not be an hour behind. Once I did get into a room, I had to explain to the medical assistant how to turn on the electronic blood pressure cuff. Then she freaked out when by BP was 100/62. I told her that was my base line and perfectly fine. She rudely asked me how I knew that. I told her b/c I went to nursing school... the same place that taught me how to use a BP cuff... The doctor was pleasant enough but not very progressive. He hardly examined me and seemed to base his H&P off the old records I brought with me. Obviously, I found a new PCP. When I went to try to get copies of my records, the staff gave me a very hard time. They informed me that they cant give out records to patients, only send them to other doctors. Even after I explained current legislation that gives patients access to their records, they still wouldnt give me copies. I had to refuse to leave the office and threaten them with a lawyer before they printed me a copy. Pathetic. As a nurse, I am embarassed that others of my profession would treat patients in this manner. By the way, they have not updated their websites office hours. Apparently they close on the occasional afternoons. I supposed the old bat behind the desk needs to take a nap....

While I cant say anything as to how the actual physician, Dr. Moraleda, is, I can say plenty about his staff that led us to walk right out the door. After GREAT difficulty with even booking an appointment with them, my fiance and I arrived a half an hour ahead of schedule (my fiance arrived an hour and a half ahead of his appointment) so we could ensure we would have plenty of time to fill out any paperwork, etc. When we first arrived we were met with an extremely curt receptionist, after waiting an hour in the waiting room (breezing right past my scheduled appointment time) while they processed our paperwork, we were given misinformation, rude service, and met with an incompetent staff. Long story short, we left without ever seeing the doctor. What a nightmare! Perhaps the doctor is great, but with staff like that, its a wonder how anyone sticks around long enough to find out.

My fiancée and I were supposed to be new patients, but we never made it that far. We made our appointment 3 weeks out, showed up the day of, and after a 20 minute wait we were met with office/insurance issues that could have been easily made evident when we originally made our appointments. Instead, the staff had us waste over an hour of our time filling out paperwork and making calls ultimately leading to us leaving because of their complete incompetence. The 3 receptionists are easily described as inept & unprofessional. I cant speak of Dr. Moraleda as we never even made it in to see him.
