The staff is anything but kind and understanding: they certainly dont understand pets or their job. We brought our pets there for end of life care: the vet lacerated our cats rectum claiming to "relieve a scent gland." She never walked again. The teenagers they employee as vet techs parade around as if they are "all knowing" yet incapable of following through with basic follow up calls necessary to complete an appointment. Appointment times are neglected and waiting times will run anywhere from 45 to 1+ hours. Avoid this place if you have any concern for the well-being of your pet. I wish I had done so much sooner.

My family and relatives have been taking our pets there for years; from the original office in mountain lakes to their new office in denville. The staff and the doctors are sooooo nice. Not to mention that their waiting room looks nothing like a normal waiting room, they have leather couches and it just looks so expensive. I would recommend this vet to anyone. I have no experience with boarding but i dont think id hesitate. btw-nothing is run down...and the last time i was there was late 2008.

I brought my dog there a while back to have a couple shots and her anal glands expressed. The Dr. Was rude to my ex-husband, rough with my dog and we have never been back. I dont remember his name but he was a tall middle eastern man that did Not like being yelled at by a woman when he hurt my dog and I flipped out on him and left! The staff was less than professional! They should be baggers in a grocery store... Not working with live animals. Love your job or move on!

Euthanized a cat, never been there before. Charged $110 (for an exam, why?) Then said, oh forgot to charge for the euthanasia. Another $120. You come to grips to put down your cat of 18 years, i wasnt gonna pack him up and go elsewhere at that point. Then met the tech James. AWESOME bedside manner. Said a prayer for him and was very comforting! He also made the "sticker shock" seem worth it.

Brick City Rescue, Inc.

They take good care of my troop and have good bedside manner. The office and staff are always friendly and accommodating. My one dog gets so excited to see one of the workers there every time we go. They have also been very helpful with the shelter/rescue dogs we have brought there as well. Its a drive for me but its worth it.

I never had a dog who actually caught a cold and developed bronchitis before. I found the vet and the assistants very nice and knowledgeable. While ther I mentioned a problem I was having with another dog - the doctor had me bring him right in and did not even charge except for the medicine I needed.

Dr. Mitrovic is our hero! Our cat had a ruptured anal gland which got infected. Dr. Mitrovic knew exactly what needed to be done. He surgically repaired it and our baby is as good as new. I cant say enough good things about him and the staff here. They are wonderful! Very caring and capable.

Terrible, terrible, terrible. Had my cat spayed there and after the vet botched that up she required two more surgeries. (one from them and one from another vet after we got fed up) Not kind or understanding. DEFINITELY would not recommend.
