I have 3 malteses....and one of them has a cruciate leg injury that happened 4 years ago when we lived in Iowa. He had surgery then and implants were inserted, he began to heal and we moved on. Fast forward 4 1/2 years later, and little Scrappy developed an issue with this same leg where he began limping and what appeared to be an infection was present. At this time, we had moved back to NJ and found Dr Reddy at the Denville Animal Hospital who started treating this issue. He did another surgery and we thought the problem was solved but the real problem finally appeared which was rejection - rejection of the cruciate implants themselves. We took little Scrappy back to Iowa to the doctor who did the initial surgery and we had the implants removed. Upon returning from IA, he suffered a complication and had to have a drain put in, which Dr Reddy did, on his day off no less! Both doctors worked in tandem to get this right for little Scrappy and I am happy to report that he is on the mend! I cannot thank Dr Reddy enough for all of his help with our precious little Scrappy.....we cannot claim success without giving some of the credit to him! His care and compassion for our dog and for us has been phenomenal. I highly recommend Dr Reddy to be your pets vet - he is just the best!

We took our dog to Dr. Moses twice. Both times, we felt our large dog was handled roughly by the staff. Dr. Moses had 2 men hold him down. Even though he is a big dog, he is VERY friendly and has never had a problem with vets poking and prodding him. His previous vets have always gotten on the floor to examine our dog - he was NEVER lifted up onto the table as Dr. Moses did. Moreover, during our second visit, Dr. Moses ordered a lot of tests, which amounted to appox. $400. He told us that the test results revealed that our dog had a heart murmur and that more EXPENSIVE tests needed to be run. We have since received 2 second opinions in which both vets said they could NOT detect any murmur. They also told us that the test Dr. Moses ran was controversial and gives inconclusive results. Of course, Dr. Moses failed to disclose this info to us. I would NOT recommend Dr. Moses and will never take my dog back to Denville Animal Hospital.

Putting a pet to sleep is one of the most difficult things that any pet owner have to go through. Unfortunately we went through that process of Euthanizing one of our cats. When we were in that emotional state, it was hard to think, communicate and make decisions. Dr. Cheenapalli was very compassionate and kindhearted the whole time and spent a lot of time with us and was very supportive and informative. He also waived office charges and medicine charges on subsequent visits for our other cats. Staffs and the doctors were very exceptionally caring. This is the place pet lovers should go and take care of their pets. This place is not expensive like nearby animal hospitals. I love about this place is there is no selling.

We have been to a couple of different vets over the past 13 years with our dog, and were not very happy with them, and made the change over to Denville Animal Hospital. We are thrilled with the care and service our sweet Zoe received. Dr.Cheenepalli was very gentle, caring, and thorough during the visit. Our one son had taken his dog, who has since passed, to them and recommended them and one of our other sons recently got a puppy and has been taking him there and they are both so happy with the staff and Drs. We totally agree and will continue to bring our dog there and will recommend to anyone who might be looking for a vet. Thanks to Denville Animal Hospital for the wonderful, caring, friendly, service :)

Weve been going to this animal hospital for over 15 years and recently a few months ago we had taken our 14 year old Dalmation who was very sick. As emotional and upset we were, we were fearful of the worst. But Dr. Cheenapalli was so compassionate and helpful and ran all tests on Oreo to ensure he was going to give the best diagnosis. After an emotional visit it was decided he needed Bladder Surgery and Dr. Cheenapalli preformed it. He followed up a day later to see how Oreo was doing and has since been ever so helpful on all his follow up visits. I couldnt be happier with the new doctor on staff as I wasnt very fond of the other 2 who have been there since the beginning. I recommend seeing Dr. Cheenapalli

You wont find a better group of animal specialists than at Denville Animal Hospital. Theyre kind, considerate, humane, personable, and they love animals, and you can tell -- from the technicians who staff the front desk to the doctors and animal assistants, theyre all top-notch and experienced. Dr. Moses is a wonderful, warm human being with a genuine enthusiasm for his patients and his years of experience are evident in his manner and treatments. I wouldnt bring my animals anywhere else in the area; there might be more modern or bigger practices around, but Denville Animal Hospital has a certain personal quality and professionalism that, in my experience, is rare and valuable.

I have my own dogs & cat, and I do rescue. Ive brought everything from a 5-lb nursing momma dog to an 18 year old cat to these vets. They treat every animal like it is the most important animal in the world! They identify whats wrong quickly and FIX it - that is the most critical thing in a vet, if you ask me! They literally saved my dogs life on one occasion when other vet had misdiagnosed a condition. On top of that, they are gentle and careful with my animals, unfailingly courteous to me, dont make me wait, explain everything and call to follow up on how the pet is doing, and their prices are reasonable. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Lisa from Randolph

This was our first visit with Denville Animal Hospital. We took our elderly dog, CJ, in with what we thought were arthritis and/or hip dysplasia problems. As soon as we walked in, the office staff greeted us and made CJ feel welcome. Dr Cheenepalli immediately met us in the exam room and was also very friendly and knowledgeable . He explained different diagnoses she may have according to symptoms all while loving on her. Once he determined what the cause was, he explained doses for meds and her follow up care and then waited for us to pay AND walked us out! The one on one attention was great and we will definitely return!

On the 7th of December I took my cat, Fangs, to see Dr. Cheenepalli since she was limping badly and not using one leg. He determined she had a torn cruciate ligament and advised me to immobilize her and give her 1 Cosequin Regular capsule a day. So I immobilized her by taking a door screen and using it to lock her in my closet. Eventually I started upping the amount of Cosequin I gave her though to 8 capsules a day. Now Fangs is totally healed and walking like normal. I am just grateful that Dr. Cheenepalli gave a non-invasive and cheaper first option, as I think most vets would have pushed surgery right away.
