Anyone looking for the real deal with a professional that focuses on the root of the problem and overall well-being and who is very knowledgeable, extended time within the field, caring, and actually listens to your concern(s) and complaint(s) of the pain and/or discomfort you are experiencing, look no further. I suffer from neck pain for over a year now, but has progressively worsen in the last 4months to the point that is affecting the performance of my job and my interaction with my family. I have been subjected to many treatment, e.g. spinal injections, manual therapy/exercises, and medicine with little help. I had enough with this debilitating pain and research very carefully and thorough with the many Chiropractors and Physical therapist to pick from. Dr. Brokstein stood out with consistent very high positive reviews of patient stating positive detail results. Now...Dr. Brokstein is clear on the first visit that not everyone will experience a positive result, but will tell you on the spot if youre a good candidate or referring you appropriately to a MD if session visits are not helping. My initial visit with Dr. Brokstein, I was experiencing a pain level of 9 out 10 (0-10, zero no pain and ten being the worst, hospitalization), after receiving my first treatment and waking up the next day, I felt ½ the pain in contrast to my initial visit and continuation of my treatment session, I have been progressively experiencing reduction of pain and currently the least pain I have felt in a long time. I do experience some flare up if I put unnecessary manual work with my hands and lifting, but I feel confident that it will take time; in addition to my efforts to follow thru with Dr. Brokstein instructions and follow thru with stretches and exercises.

Dr. Brokstein is phenomenal! I am a woman in my thirties who had several complaints. I had very sharp pains in the top of my feet after being on them for hours at work as an RN. I also had neck and upper back pain. I had never been to a chiropractor before and was very apprehensive. After doing some research I came across Dr. Brokstein. I have been going to him for the last few months and have noticed a big difference! After my first adjustment my neck pain was totally gone and had much better range of motion. The sharp foot pain in my feet was gone as well. I had been seeing a podiatrist for over two years and after receiving custom orthotics my foot pain was not any better. I stopped going to the podiatrist after she wanted me to have a test called an EMG which is semi-invasive and very painful. I decided to find another option. Dr. Brokstein had me fitted with a custom orthotic/foot levelers that feels so much better than the one the podiatrist gave me. The orthotic the podiatrist gave me was so hard it was like cement and didnt allow my feet to flex a little when walking. Also Dr. Brokstein has helped me with my acid reflux, headaches, and sinuses. I am now a patient of his for life! I love that he can perform adjustments without any x-rays as well. He is also just so nice and very informative. I highly recommend him to anyone. Excellent Chiropractor! Highly Recommended ! You will feel relief after your first visit and thereafter. Dr. Brokstein goes above and beyond for all of his patients. He is passionate about natural health care, is extremely knowledgeable, and very comfortable to be around. He continues to expand and improve upon his practice with latest, up to date technology, which best suits the needs of his patients. I had never been to a chiropractor before meeting Dr. Russell Brokstein and was never informed of what chiropractic truly does for ones overall health care. My impression, like most people think, is that its mostly about neck and back pain. No other doctor took the time to explain and educate me that chiropractic is about natural health care without drugs or surgery. Dr. Russell takes the time to examine and then explain what is causing your health issues and how to correct the problem so you can enjoy your normal daily activities. Now I realize chiropractic is about maintaining my health and is part of my routine. I have never felt better as I sleep better and have more energy! I highly recommend him to not only people with back or neck pain and headaches, but anybody who wants to experience natural healthcare in the Freehold/Monmouth County area. You will be glad that you took this step!

I first visited Dr. Brokstein’s office in the summer of 2012 because I was experiencing severe lower back pain, and vertigo. I had previously gone to my family doctor who prescribed medication that didn’t work and I suffered for several weeks not knowing what to do except to pop mega doses of Ibuprofen. I had little faith that anything was going to help. Thankfully, I discovered Dr. Brokstein’s website and immediately made an appointment. With frequent visits at the beginning of my treatment, I began to feel relief in just a few weeks. By the fall, the crippling pain in my lower back was gone and I was no longer feeling dizzy. I was truly amazed. It’s almost a year later and I continue to see Dr. Brokstein for periodic “maintenance”. I have gone to Chiropractors in the past, but none of them provided the kind of attention and professionalism that I receive from Dr. Brokstein. The other Chiropractors I went to put me in a room alone hooked up to heating pads, probes and machines, “razzle dazzle” with no results. What I like about Dr. Brokstein is his enthusiasm about Chiropractics and his hands on/ personal approach. Indeed, his goal is to relieve your pain, but he is also truly interested in the overall well being of his patients. All doctors should be like Dr. Russell!

I had been suffering from vertigo for about a year and hip pain. I had heard chiropratcotrs can help with vertigo. I had searched online and found Dr. Brokstein and saw that he dealt with vertigo. I have been going to him for almost 2 yeras now. I have been vertigo free and my hip pain is gone. My husband had fallen coming out of our shed. He started having upper and lower back problems and pain in his legs. My husband also suffers from lower back arthritis from an accident he had many years ago. He had been sore and was not able to stand up straight for 3 weeks. I suggested that he go to Dr. Brokstein. With his first visit, Dr. Brokstein diagnosed him with chronic to acute back problems. Needless to say, after his first adjustment with Dr. Brokstein, he walked out of his office being able to walk upright. He has been seeing Dr. Brokstein for about 2 months now and he also continues to go to him. We have never waited more than 5 minutes to see him for any appointment. We have both been to other chiropractors in the past and he is by far the best chiropractor we have ever been to. We especially like the fact, that he runs his practice by himself and has flexible hours to meet our needs. We would recommend Dr. Brokstein to everyone.

I sought Dr. Russell Broksteins help after lifting heavy objects and throwing my back and neck out, and experiencing excruciating pain when attempting to moving (and sometimes just sitting there)! After three days of unbearable pain, my wife went on-line and read patient reviews of chiropractors in the Manalapan/Freehold area. I did not want anyone touching me, as the pain radiated throughout my body...no less someone adjusting me. I agreed to set-up an appointment with Dr. Brokstein. At the initial examination, he took a comprehensive history and conducted a diagnostic examination of my spine with a special computer program. Great...no X-rays or painful manipulations. After the examination we discussed his findings in detail and he commenced treatment. While uncomfortable at first, I began seeing improvements by my second visit. Since then (two months later) I can honestly say that I am 98% back to normal! In addition to adjustments, Dr. Brokstein takes the time to make sure that your muscles are properly stretched and provides instruction on how to "keep yourself" fit. I would (and have) recommended Dr. Brokstein to anyone who needs chiropractic care, and is looking for a chiropractor who really seeks to help patients become better!
