Im a huge skeptic, especially when it comes to medicine. After injuring my neck and back several years ago (years of army life and mixed martial arts are not good for the back) I was experiencing almost constant nerve pain/tingling, so I asked my primary care doctor about seeing a chiropractor and he was dead set against it. Well over 5 years the MDs would send me to physical therapy (drive an hour to do some ineffectual stretches I can do at home), offer me painkillers (yeahhh no thanks), and finally talked about surgically severing nerves or bo-toxing them. Mostly I just sucked it up and largely got used to it. But what kind of crazy world do we live in where doctors would rather inject botox into my nerves than have me see a chiropractor? Finally I figured, screw it, Ill try it. I really just think my spine is out of whack and pressing on a nerve. Dr. Park had very good reviews so I chose him. I went in and Dr. Park immediately identified the problem area and corrected it. It wasnt even the epic cracking Id fantasized about in my head, just a firm, painless push. In a matter of minutes the infuriating, almost constant tingling and mild pain that Id lived with for years was gone. As a bonus, Dr. Park also worked on my TMJ (jaw/ear joint) which had been messed up by one too many sparring sessions, which corrected my bite and reduced the annoying clicking I get when eating. The day after the adjustment, I did experience significant muscular soreness in my neck and shoulder area. Some of the muscles back there are no doubt atrophied from years of bad posture and trying to correct for the nerve pain. It took about 48 hours for my body to adjust and the muscular soreness abated. (I should mentioned that this sort of soreness is vastly preferable to the infuriating nerve pain/tingle- its the soreness that comes with any serious muscle workout.) I saw Dr. Park for a second time today and he worked on my shoulder and higher and lower areas of my back, and the TMJ. Basically he solved the underlying issue in those first 15 minutes- the problem that the MDs couldnt fix in 5 years- and now were working on the secondary issues that probably radiated out from there. As far as Im concerned, this is all gravy at this point. I was thrilled for my back to just not bother me constantly, but Im moving towards having the totally normal and healthy back I had before the Army and martial arts took their toll, which I honestly never hoped for. What really sold me on Dr. Park, however, is when he said "next session will probably be the last one you need." I was really shocked as so many doctors nowadays are all about keeping you coming back (kind of like a shady car mechanic). Its really refreshing to have a Doc with the mindset of "identify the problem and fix it", instead of "lets treat the symptoms and keep you coming back forever." Also- great location, plenty of parking, friendly staff, clean/modern office and equipment, all that secondary stuff. So in summary- Chiropractors arent miracle healers and while I dont think Dr. Park can walk on water (but who knows), if you have an issue that falls under the chiropractic purview Id strongly recommend giving it a try, and especially Dr. Park. If youve had long-term back/neck issues and your MD would rather drug you up/cut you up than have you see a chiropractor, maybe its time to rethink your treatment options. For the other beat-up veterans out there who might be curious, the VA doesnt currently cover chiropractic care to my knowledge, I think their was a bill in Congress to change that but no-go so far. HOWEVER, paying out of pocket is totally worth it. $60 a session is less than my bar tab on most Saturdays! Small price to pay to feel better.

I have had lower back pain since I was in high school, and ever since i had adjustments by Dr. Park I have felt much better; he takes into consideration the patients as family members and treats them with a lot of respect, not only Dr. Park but the entire office crew is very friendly. My father has also been there with Sciatica and lower back pain, once again Dr. Park demonstrated his ability as a chiropractor but also as a person. what else can I say, my entire family knows who he is and admires him very much for his kindness and professionalism.

I sprain my ankle in 2004 and have been living with the ankle pain ever since. I have seen countless orthopedics, acupuncturists, physical therapists, and chiropractors from New Jersey to New York City. All have provided little and temporarily relief to my pain. My life changed. From being robust and sporty to being inactive and disabled. Recently, my new co-worker suggested that I see Dr. Park because he had rehabilitated her moms foot pain. I was VERY skeptical because previous chiropractors did NOT help but, I was desperate and went. After the first 3 visits to Dr. Park, I noticed the swelling went down, the pain reduced tremendously, and my ankle felt stronger!!! After a few more visits, I can walk for 3-5 hours straight without using an ankle brace! (Before Dr. Parks treatments, I have pain after walking 20 minutes and must put on the ankle brace.) Recently, I went hiking for 2 hours without my brace! My husband and friends are happy to see that I no longer depend on my brace. This is freedom after suffering for 9 years! Now I can go to the gym for Zumba, Step class, etc. Dr. Park is still treating me and hopefully, one day I can play tennis, rollerblade, run and jump, etc. again. For now, I am just thrilled to walk one step at a time (without my brace and limping all the time)...all thanks to a VERY competent, skillful and caring Dr. Park. His office staff is extremely friendly and courteous. You can get an appointment easily. Dont suffer with your pain. See Dr. Park and experience for yourself how a qualified doctor like him can help you.

I have been through a handful of chiropractors over the years, but I have never been more pleased with the service I have received from Dr. Park office. I have had some big falls from snowboarding where I could barely walk or sit at a desk because I was in so much discomfort. Dr. Park and his staff would see me several times in one week until I was feeling better. Dr. Park will typically suggest when to follow up until a problem is resolved. He is not your revolving door type of doctor, you can depend on a solution. His typical office visit offers chiropractic adjustment, e-stim, and therapeutic massage. I remembering being really impressed one time when Dr. Park saw and took care of a large bruise. He used a technique he had learned from a seminar on how to speed the healing time and coloration of a bruise by 50%. Since then its been a relief to not walk around with bruises for months. Dr. Park provides a clean, professional, and caring staff to take care of all your chiropractic needs. They are awesome. I highly recommend coming here!
