I met Dr Murphy 25 years ago. He started treating me for arm/hand pain that was caused by my occupation. Not only did he keep my out of pain, he kept me drug free! My medical doctor ran multiple expensive test, then told me all the results were negative ( I think he thought I was a hypochondriac), then suggested I just take advil for the pain! Really??? Everyday...For my whole life?? That cant be good for you. Then my husband injured his back on the job, and ruptured 3 discs in his lower back. He could not even walk! His company doctor insisted we see an orthopedic surgeon, who told us that if he ever expected to recover, he would need surgery. Instead we chose to have Dr. Murphy treat him. Within 2 weeks he was able to walk, within 3 months he was able to take 5 mile power walks!! That was 18 years ago! He is fully recovered and still does hour long power walks every day!, He is strong, physical fit and active still thanks to the skill and confidence of Dr. Murphy! Dr. Murphy is always kind, patient, and caring. His staff is awesome! I moved out of state 13 years ago, but I still continue to send all my friends and relatives who still live there to him. I know it may sound like an overstatement. But, he saved our lives! Who knows what our health would have been like if we continued taking pain medications all those years! I shudder at the thought!! Thank you Dr. Murphy!

I had been a patient of Dr. Murphys at Suburban Chiropractic Center in Chatham, NJ for many years. I began as a patient shortly after Dr. Murphy opened his practice in 1985. I went in with bad back pain. My back was so bad I could not bend over to tie my shoes, could not sit in a car for more than 20 minutes without severe sciatica type pain & experienced pain in a variety of situations that made life very uncomfortable. Dr. Murphy and his caring staff worked with me for a long time greatly reducing my pain and giving me more mobility so that I could do some of the things I had been having difficulty with. I would then visit periodically for adjustments. I highly recommend Dr. Murphy. He is very knowledgeable in all areas of chiropractic care as well as nutrition and holistic medicine. He treats the whole person with great caring and concern. His wonderful staff will make you feel very comfortable with their kindness, caring and concern.

After "unsuccessful" treatments over a 2 year period with professionals including a chiropractor, an orthopedic MD, an orthopedic surgeon, and an integrative medicine MD...I found Suburban Chiropractic Center. I visited Dr Murphy with elbow pain (and shoulder pain), exasperated and desperate for help, without surgery. Dr Murphy was knowledgeable and thorough from my first appointment, and every one thereafter. His friendly and competent staff made my visits comfortable and efficient. I never waited for more than 5 minutes. After 4 months of visits, I feel much better & can resume daily activities and sports without pain! I would recommend him to my family and friends anytime. I have had problems with my neck and back for almost four years and have been on some heavy medications for it with no avail. My employer referred me to Dr. Murphy. I was hesitant to go to a chiropractor for my pain, but because of my employers advice I went. Before he even worked on me he took x-rays and had a consultation with me about how he could help with my neck and back. I am only going a short period of time and I already have reduced my pain significantly. I take no more heavy medications and Dr. Murphys positive attitude and wonderful skill has encouraged me and helped me tremendously. His staff is also very pleasant and positive as well. I highly recommend him.

Have been a patient of Suburban Chiropractic since 1998. Had severe lower back pain daily for 18 months. Orthopedic doctor was quick to write script for pain pills which I wanted no part of. Went to Dr. Murphy at urging of my wife. Pain was so bad that day she had to drive me. After 1 treatment/adjustment by the next morning I felt some relief. After two more visits I was completely pain free. I thank God I found Dr. Murphy. Have been going for bi-weekly or monthly adjustments ever since just to keep my back in "working order". Lynn and Janis are wonderful and are welcoming and friendly. I highly recommend Suburban Chiropractic Center!

All the other doctors I went to wanted to give me a shot to relieve the pain from a herniated disc in my neck. Dr. Murphy fixed it so that I am now pain free - with no drugs or surgery!!! I had severe pain in my back and arm and could not sit or keep my neck straight from the agony. Thank you Dr. Murphy for giving me my life back!

I was experiencing sciatic and lower back issues and I sought Dr Murphy for treatment. After several months of chiropractic, my condition corrected it self and I was pain free.
