I have been a client of the North Jersey Chiropractic Rehabilitation Center for several months now. I receive Chiropractic adjustments every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. On Tuesdays and Thursdays I am a patient of the physical therapist... I came to this facility with multiple pain causing issues, namely five herniated discs, sciatica in my left leg, and arthritis on both sides of my spine. Dr. Raymond DeFelice, Chiropractor, arranged for me to have x-rays taken at a facility in Wayne, NJ, which showed that I also have arthritis on my left hip. This arthritis pain could be radiating into my lower back and down my left leg, a situation unbeknownst before.... These diagnoses gave Dr. Ray and his Physical Therapy team the ground-work so they could have me perform the proper exercises to lessen my pain and regain my strength. I always used a cane to walk before. I now use my cane much less and my pain level has decreased... Dr. Ray adjusts my spine in a manner to decompress my discs which lessens the pain in my lower back, while the physical therapists have me using the treadmill, the stationary bicycle, and doing various exercises to relieve the pain from the arthritis on my left hip and down my left leg... The bottom-line is: Everyone at this facility is incredibly accommodating, from the secretaries/receptionists to the chiropractor/owner to the physical therapists. Everyone knows your name and is familiar with your health needs. The atmosphere is one of friendliness and happiness and all staff members do their work with alacrity... I injured my back in 2009 and was in intense physical therapy for almost 2 years before my insurance stopped paying for it. Subsequently, my back has been deteriorating ever since, as it was never properly healed and I couldnt afford to pay out-of-pocket. A year ago I moved to the Pompton Lakes area and, on a whim and after a search within the area, I came to see Dr. Ray and Dr. John. They cooperate with my insurance (and, according to them, basically all other plans) so that patient responsibility is at the bare minimum. I have been going for just over 2 months, and the results are outstanding. I can sleep through the night without pain, my range of motion has improved dramatically, and my overall discomfort is minimal at its worst. Whats truly astounding is the short period of time in which the healing occurred. The turn-around has been exactly what I thought, after such a prolonged and difficult injury, wasnt really a possible outcome for me. I can honestly say that my quality of life has been radically improved, and those two men deserve all the credit. As long as you are regimented with your exercises (difficult for some people to do, but after so long and so much pain, I only needed to hear the words "it will help" to adhere to them strictly) and take their suggestions to heart, you too will be as pleasantly surprised as I. Theyre the best and are truly interested in making your life as good and comfortable as it can be. If you visit, youll not be disappointed.

Every experience I have had at North Jersey Chiropractic for the last 6 months when I became a patient has been exceptional. From the moment I called and spoke with the always-friendly and helpful administrative assistant, Maureen, it did not feel like a typical, cold atmosphere you might expect from a doctors office. Everyone I encounter has a smile on his or her face, including my physical therapists, Dr. Danielle and Melanie. I can only say this helpful and friendly atmosphere is a direct result of Dr. Ray, who leads by example. Not only is he a genuinely friendly, caring doctor, he has helped my back feel much better, even in the few months Ive been attending. He takes care to assess new patients needs and explain his diagnosis, as well as how he is going to work on the necessary corrections. I never feel rushed when there, yet I also do not have to wait when an appointment is made. The entire office is very welcoming to my 2-year-old daughter, on the occasion I have to bring her with me. Even she likes to attend my appointments because they have a doll house set up for her to play with! This is a top notch office, from top to bottom!

If you are reading these reviews, looking for a chiropractor in the area, stop now and book an appointment with Dr. Ray. You will be so happy you did. I first came to Dr. Ray after suffering from shoulder pain. I cannot say enough great things about him! Dr. Ray really took the time to listen and investigate the source of my pain and helped put me on a plan that was manageable for me. Within a few visits I noticed a major difference in my shoulder and after sticking to his treatment plan which included stretches, exercises and regular chiropractic adjustments my shoulder has improved immensely. He truly cares about his patients and makes you feel like he is 100% committed to your health and wellness. The office staff are so friendly, helpful and will always do their best to accommodate your schedule. I have never had any issues with insurance or billing either. Theyre the best!

Dr. Ray and Dr. Melinda truly do care about their patients health. They do not only inform you about spinal health but make it extremely easy to understand the importance of maintaining a healthy spine and overall lifestyle. I have been going to Dr. Ray for over four years and Im sad I didnt start getting adjusted before then. The staff in office are also some of the most helpful and friendly people I have ever met. Making an appointment at their office is so simple too, especially with their hours that accommodate even my busy schedule and I am a full time student and full time worker at my job. Overall, Dr. Ray and Dr. Melinda are simply the best in the area and I suggest you make an appointment with them if you havent done so already.

I have been going to North Jersey Chiropractic and seeing Dr. Ray for several years now. I have never had a specific injury or a specific diagnosis of a particular problem of my back or neck, but rather make my visits for regular "maintenance." I was an athlete throughout college and still remain active today. I find that my muscles and body work much better when my body is aligned. Dr. Ray always takes the time to focus on a specific area if I am having an issue that week. This customized attention really makes all the difference. I also really love how he has an understanding of sports and can relate to my workouts and lifestyle. He can give me tips as to how to tweak certain motions or exercises to better help my body.

I swear to you I had a killing pain in my back from my job as a wood smith. For the past 15 years I lived with the pain thinking " itll go away by itself." But it never did. So I decided to make a appointment and go see Dr. Ray and within about two months of intense training and his expertise, he made ALL of my pain go away. It was like I was just born again. I learned from my mistakes and stopped doing everything I thought I knew and started doing everything Dr. Ray told me to do like stretching and stand up straight and dont lean over for too long or hunch my back. Dr. Ray you are my hero.
