We moved to NJ over 15years ago and our dentist in HI referred us to Dr. John Cross and his Associates. Its actually quite a distance for us to travel from Maplewood to Martinsville but we would drive to PA if we had to because this Dentist and his Office Staff are worth it!! Weve never been in an environment that exudes peace and calm as much as Dr. Crosss Office. From the time you step out of your car, the Zen gardens surrounding his home office are just beautiful, calming and extraordinary! The office itself is just as lovely! Huge windows open up onto the back gardens for your view as you sit in the dental chair. There is always wonderful Zen-like music softly playing in the background. BUT while this environment is one of the BEST weve ever experienced, its Dr. Cross and his Staff (Denise, Patty and others) that make this dental experience so excellent! Dr. Cross is always calm, careful to explain each plan as well as explore options with us and made us feel comfortable and confident with the care we received from the outset. The office works with us often when we need to reschedule and bills insurance for us after each visit - they are very timely! We highly recommend Dr. Cross and his Associates for anyone seeking a calm, professional, caring dental experience and really cannot praise enough the care we have received from this staff !!

Can a dental visit be Zen-Yes! I have been going to this office for over ten years and have referred family and friends. This dental office is nestled in a beautiful garden setting. All of the staff are kind, caring, competent professionals who go out of their way to make the dental experience pleasant and gentle. Don’t be surprised when they offer up an aromatic, warm neck wrap to wear during your visit- along with tinted glasses to keep the glare from lights at bay- accompanied by a most soothing music selection. Zen like atmosphere aside, I have been so happy with the results from years of service. Dr. Cross takes much time to explain why and when work is needed. One is never rushed in this office and care is taken so that a client’s time is respected. Watch for the careful attention to detail which everyone in this office offers up to clients. Aesthetic Dental has a patient (and friend) for life in me-(and with all others I have referred).

Excellent experience! I hadnt been to the dentist for a few years and was apprehensive about the appointment. However, I couldnt have gone to a better group of professionals. Patricia was exceedingly nice and accommodating on the phone when I made my appointment -- that alone made me feel that Id made the right choice. Dr. Cross was gentle, knowledgeable, and most importantly, instructive. He didnt merely tell me that I needed to floss more, he explained exactly why I needed to do so by patiently going through my Xrays with me. And Denise - what an absolute doll! Its never comfortable to have a stranger picking away at your teeth, but Denise really went out of her way to make the experience as comfortable as possible. She even gave me a warm neck pillow to put around my shoulders! Like Dr. Cross, she also meticulously explained how and why I should clean my teeth. Overall, a great group and a great experience!

I have been very, very happy and satisfied with the complete dental health professionalism I have experienced at the office of Dr. Cross "Aesthetic Dental Group". Dr. Cross is very educated and knowledgeable in his profession, he takes his time to explain procedures and goes through everything thoroughly. I dont ever have to worry about the outcome when Dr. Cross is working on my teeth, I know I will be completely happy with my results. The dental hygienist Denise is one of the most gracious people I have met and is also highly qualified in her field of profession, my teeth have never looked whiter and brighter. Pat is also a pleasure to work with on the phone, in the office and on the dental chair. Shes surely is a person of multiple tasks and does exceptionally in all of them. It brings great pleasure to go to the office and experience the beautiful tranquil Asian gardens and the impeccable super clean office.

Dr Cross and the hygienist Denise are both great. On one visit Dr. Cross spotted a suspicious mole on my forehead, advised me to have it looked at. It turned out to be pre-cancerous and was removed, now I go to a dermatologist every 6 months to get screened. I also recently chipped a tooth over the weekend, left a message at their office, and got a call-back in 30 minutes from Dr Cross, and he scheduled me for a visit on Monday. My visit is always friendly, they take good care of their patients, have never had a long wait in the office, My dental hygiene was far from great, prior to going here I would only go to the dentist maybe once every 5 years, and have a lot of hardware in my mouth. Theyve nudged me towards better habits over the years while still being friendly, and have been going here twice a year for maybe 7 or 8 years now, am happy with the service and recommend them if youre looking for a dentist.

Dr. Cross is an exemplary dental medicine doctor who takes meticulous care of me as a whole person while taking particular attention to the health of my teeth and mouth. I never feel rushed by Dr. Cross or his staff and his work is always done to perfection. The office has a very soothing and calming zen feel to it and helps to calm the nervousness that typically accompanies the thought of someone working on my teeth. Denise is the dental hygienist who uses the latest technologies to clean my teeth and lecture me on the the importance of dental hygiene for overall good health. My experiences with Denise have always been pleasant. Overall, Dr. Cross and his staff provide excellent dental care with an attitude of real caring.

I have been a patient at Aesthetic Dental Group for at least the last fifteen years and it has been a wonderful experience. I have seen Dr. Cross for all my dental needs and now Dr. Chan for orthodontia. Since November of 2014, I have been using Invisalign and love how my teeth are looking. Dr. Chan has walked me through every step and now were down to the final stretch making small adjustments. I cant wait to see the results! My entire family goes to this office for dental care and we all feel very well looked after. The doctors and staff make us feel at home and they really care how we are doing - not just how our mouths are doing! Its the one dentists office that I can say I look forward to going to!

The family feel of the office as well as the calming atmosphere really makes the overall experience as painless and stress-free as possible. The entire staff is friendly and professional and their services have always exceeded my expectations. Even as I am making a career change and moving to New York, I am planning to continue using their services for the foreseeable future.
