I had thought doctor Luongo was a very good doctor. Over time this has changed. As mentioned I too have waited for call backs on blood tests, eventually I get the doctor but why isnt someone staffed to call back a patient with the results in a timely manner after 3 or 4 phone calls? I have complained of tiredness, he always came up with a reason. Turns out my new doctor tested me and Ive had Lyme disease! You would think he would have tested for this. Ive also mentioned - my blood pressure seems super low - yet I still take meds for high BP. The new doctor saw this and got upset, cutting my meds by a quarter to start and possibly eliminating them all together in the future. My cholesterol is perfect - yet I take meds for this- new doctor cut them out as well. I am finally feeling normal again after a very short period of time. While I like Dr. Luongo, his personality etc., his office has become overburdened since joining the Valley Group and you can get busy signal after busy signals plus appointments for months in the future. His nurses aid is more worried about correctly fitting you into codes for insurance than what you actually have. I believe he needs to take a step back and actually be a doctor again, because he was good, and now he is caught in some revolving door medical mill and is not addressing his patients needs.

The doc was good but afterwards was not so great. It has been almost 2 months and yet I am still waiting to the doctor to call me about my blood results. I have left 3 messages and called about 6 times. There was zero follow through from anyone. This is NOT a good thing. The search goes on for a different doctor! This is why I give this a 1 star. Follow through is very important. I go to the doctors to get answers. I dont go to them to be forgotten. Even if the results tested good I will would want to know this.

Dr Peter Luongo is the best MD I have ever met. Patient, very knowledgeable and common sense practical medicine. Appointments kept and he always returns calls. I just wonder how he finds the time. I highly recommend Dr. luongo and his staff as well.
