I just moved to the area and was extremely reluctant to find a new family dentist. I kept putting it off until my Rheumatologist recommended that I go, due to an underlying condition. I did a quick search, and discovered Gentle Dentistry in Sparta. Their reviews were nothing less than 5 stars. Everyone said they were life changing. Well, they are. I went for my initial appointment, which is meant to be an overall checkup and review of any possible work that will need to be done. It was completely stress free. What I immediately took notice to was their patience and kindness to my anxiety regarding dental work. The hygienists, as well as Dr. Cannon, were all incredibly kind and understanding; which is honestly, in my opinion, the best way to ease a patients anxiety. It truly meant a lot to me and allowed me to feel completely at ease. Rather than avoiding and dreading my follow up cleanings, I was actually excited to go to my appointment. The cleaning, which included an "OraSpa" treatment, was OUT OF THIS WORLD. It was truly the most relaxing and painless experience imaginable. I practically forgot I was in the middle of a cleaning because I was so relaxed. The Ora Spa included aromatherapy, essential oils, massage, headed hand warmers, blanket, and even a dental massage chair. If you have not tried OraSpa, or have not had a cleaning in a while, please go to Gentle Dentistry. Even if you are 25, or even 50 miles away. It is truly that worth the trip. Thank you, Nadine, for giving me the most amazing cleaning I have ever had.

I have always been reluctant when trying new dentists mainly because I had some very bad experiences when I was a child with a pediatric dentist who was very rude. After I found a dentist who I loved and went to for about 8 years I needed to find a new one when he moved away. Dr. Cannon is fantastic and the staff at gentle dentistry are very kind! I recently went in to get some cavities taken care of and I was nervous because I have sensitive teeth. I felt absolutely no pain whatsoever and was out within an hour. I was shocked at how well the procedure went. If you are looking for a great and caring dentist go to Dr. Cannon, you will not be disappointed!

From the moment you walk in the door everyone at Gentle Dentistry is welcoming and professional. From their impeccable office, refreshments, and snacks to the neck roll, blanket, aromatherapy,and peaceful music it is unlike any other dental experience.They truly put their patients first! Every member of the staff is genuinely concerned about you. Through my experience, Doctor Zoltek and Doctor Cannon have been so dedicated in helping me with my treatment plan and I would never consider going elsewhere!!

Dr. Zelia Cannon is by far the best dentist I have ever had. She is professional, does outstanding work and is one of the most pleasant people you will ever meet. She takes a genuine interest in her patients, often calling after a procedure just to make sure you are OK. I have three children ranging in age from 8-15. All of them love her. She makes the dentistry process "gentle" for everyone of us from 8 to 50! I highly recommend her! Chuck Mills (school teacher)

My experience with Dr.Cannon and Monica was amazing! They made me feel very comfortable, they took their time on me and worked on every detail. Dr. Cannon and Dr. Zoltec are very good at making you feel relaxed while also doing a very good and professional job; the Hygienists and front desk staff are all awesome too...I would and have recommended them to friends who live within a 25 mile radius of Sparta...Very nice practice!
