I am astonished that of all, and I mean there are so many people who swear by Dr K there is not a flood of REVIEWS. I have been with Dr K for 21 Years and 6 pets who all lived beyond normal life expectancy! One of my Dogs was supposed to die with a growth on her liver and Dr K sent us to a surgical center to have the growth removed. He said she will be fine! I guess it was from his mouth to Gods ears as she lived to be 18 with half a liver! He also had us make our own dog food to feed her liver! Dr K and his staff are very personable with the clients, but it would seem to be more of a family! I think Dr K charges what every other vet charges but I would not know, I will not change when he is so well versed in his profession and if there is something that needs a specialist, he calls them in! I do not get calls from his staff because he is overburdened with people saying I want Dr K only! Ok I am one of those people! I will use his other Vets and they are good, but I have a 21 year rapport with this man so you know why I call on him mainly! I think what I have written explains why we all choose him! Also it seems as someone has a problem with paying for a pets care in one of the reviews and the other is obviously a child who does count. I do not think people who do not run a business know the expenses incurred by the business as a whole. Unless you have run a business for years you find many people in your wallet uncle sam, the insurances, website cost, utilities, equipment purchase upkeep and inspections by both local and state. This also does not include the Education you have to go through. So when you get a bill it is not jut the time you came in with your pet that you and the Doctor pays. By the way those expenses are a short list.

HIS EXPERTISE: Incomparable! He LISTENS to your problem, does a thorough assessment of your pet and regardless of the situation will offer treatment based on his years of experience and knowledge. His judgment is unsurpassed by other vets because he has the wisdom to treat YOUR pet and YOU as individuals. MOST ADMIRABLE: Since I am an R.N. I have had many years dealing with Health Care Providers, including vets, both as a patient and a nurse. I know that a doctor that is intelligent and text book smart, but lacks common sense is useless. The one thing I loved about Dr. K is he not only has expertise in his field but also has a great deal of common sense, which is a priority in the medical profession. His opinion that ultimately was my choice, was ALWAYS on the mark. MY LITTLE MAN OSCAR: My beloved little dog Oscar passed away in June. Prior to his death, he was in a lot of pain. Dr. K did not have mere sympathy; he had empathy and heartfelt compassion. I believed he loved Oscar almost as much I did and did not want to see him in pain. I flew into the office several times and no matter how busy Dr. K was, he made time for my little man. Additionally, I have NEVER felt rushed or insignificant. He worked with me in relieving his pain until I was ready to give him to GOD. I undoubtedly know that his treatment of every pet he sees, receives nothing less than I have described and in reality surpasses the proclamation of his mission statement. THE STAFF: The staff is wonderful. They always greeted Oscar and me with a warm welcome with kindness and familiarity. After Oscar went to heaven, all the staff sent me a beautiful card expressing their sorrow for my loss. Sincerely, Lovingly and Thankfully, Cara and Oscar Pressman

To board a dog here they require extra immunizations (two types of influenza). My vet said this was ridiculous given there havent been any cases, and he only carried the most common strain of k9 influenza (and also immediately knew that we were boarding there because they the only kernel that requires these needless shots). When I brought the shot record to the kennel at West Trenton they said theyd have to administer the rare strain of the shot (for $33) the day we drop the dog off. This is ridiculously stupid given that it takes two weeks to get immunity from a vaccine. This means that my dog world get NO benefit from the shot for the one day stay at the kennel. This seems like a scam to get people to pay for needless shots. I immediately found alternate accommodations for my dog.

My 10 yr. old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel has been going to West Trenton Animal Hospital for the past few years. His Vet, Dr. K is simply wonderful - I couldnt ask for a better Vet for my pet. Dr. K treats and cares for Jamie better than my doctor takes care of me. He calls, follows up, gives excellent advise and is so patient, considerate and loving. Im extremely happy with the care Jamie receives from Dr. K. I wouldnt want any other Vet to care for my pet. I would definitely refer my family, friends, as well as anyone else who inquired as to the best place to take their pet, to Dr. K.

Hopewell Elementary School

My Maine Coon kitten is a new patient of Dr. Ks and our experience through a neuter/microchip/declaw has been fantastic. Dr. K is extremely knowledgeable, professional, empathetic and appropriately cautious (a truly rare combination). He spent a lot of time with us throughout the process and then checked in twice after kitty had come home from surgery. I also appreciate that he kept my kitty for 2 nights to make sure his pain was well managed and that he was healing well before he came home. I highly recommend Dr. K and the West Trenton Animal Hospital - I will not go anywhere else.

I just had an amazing experience at this facility. I recently lost my job and had my cat return home after being missing about 2 months. He didnt look so well to say the least and I was afraid to see the bill to patch my lil buddy up. But they were very compassionate to my situation to say the very least, everyone there was very friendly especially the nurse and doctor that helped me. I cant thank them enough and Id recommend them to anyone who cares for their furry loved one .

My Yorkie, Fred, has been going to West Trenton Animal Hospital since he was a puppy. His very first wellness check-up was done here and weve been going ever since. Dr. K is awesome. He always takes time with Fred, and with me, to answer all questions and to make sure every concern is addressed. Fred loves him! I am so grateful for the care they give my doggy!

My "boys" Remington and Riley are always in the best hands at West Trenton Animal Hospital...we have always been very happy with their care and concern for our dogs. We receive follow up phone calls when they have been sick ( or eaten something as Riley has a reputation for doing!) We are very grateful for all their support

I called around to several veterinary clinics in my area looking for a good fit. The minute the phone at the West Trenton Animal Hospital was answered, I knew Id found a great place to take my pet for care. My expectations were exceeded. The facility is wonderful, the staff is caring and friendly. I highly recommend them.
