I call for an appointment the day before yesterday. The person on the phone wasnt the best communicator but thats fine. I set an appointment for 5:45 pm TODAY (Wednesday 6/22). Yesterday I get a phone call asking me about my 5:30 appointment on Wednesday (I can tell its the same woman). I said its 5:45 she said no its 5:30 - not in a nice customer service kind of way but in a no-you-idiot kind of way. I set the appointment for 5:45 because I get out of work at 5:30 and I only work 5 mins away. They want to push it back a whole hour because "the office closes at 6". Why did you make the appointment in the first place? I make a compromise for 5:15 to leave work early. Today I get another phone call telling me that the doctor will not see me unless I make him my primary care physician on my insurance. I say to the woman "So the doctor is forcing me to make him my PCP or he will not see me?" her response exactly: "yes". Heres my take on whats going on: the doctor is profiling patients with state insurance because he or she is greedy so they will only treat these patients under the perfect conditions for their pocket. FYI, I work in the medical space and this is not a thing that doctors generally do. It is unscrupulous. I will be lodging a complaint with every board and governing body that will accept my complaint unless I am contacted by the doctor himself. Youre job is to treat sick people not to drain their insurance.

I have been a patient here for about 4 years now give or take. Due to some medical issues, I see Sheena or now recently Dr. Yee, once a month. Im gonna keep this short and sweet. I absolutely LOVE both of them. The care and kindness that they give to me, is beyond any expectations I had prior to walking thru that door. They listened to me and worked with me and have basically helped change my life. I feel so lucky to have found my PCP.
