Dr. Sorrentino found a couple of cavities that needed filling. You know how dentists (the ones Ive been to, anyway) usually wait until the area is numb before giving you novacaine injections? He applied anesthetic but immediately gave me the injection and the jolt of pain was ridiculous. He told me I was just nervous. My previous dentist waited at least a minute or so and ASKED if I was numb before giving me the injection. I was never "nervous" with him. He did a filling in one of my front teeth and I was unhappy with how it looked. I mentioned it to one of his staff and she said coldly "I think youre being too critical." Bedside manner was virtually non-existant and he seemed more concerned with getting me on a carb-free diet than making me comfortable (and Im not overweight). I know its something hes really passionate about, but please.

I spent a lot of money having a cap put on and was very dissappointed with the results. The cap was yellow and did not match my tooth color, it was also crooked. I am trying to upload a picture soon so everyone can see for themselves. I would have been happy to have the cap replaced with a correct size and color one, but Dr Sorrentino just shrugged and said " Thats the best I can do". Really? Obviosly he either is only capable of substandard work, or he just doesnt care about pleasing his patients. I would NEVER recommend his to anyone!

Dr Sorrentino is an excellent dentist. I have not had a dentist that works in a personable, professional manner in a long time. I am more than pleased that I came across the Hudson River to have him work on my broken molar! His staff as well is kind and worked so well together to create a comfortable atmosphere for my daughter and I! Job well done! And I will be back!
