Our 12 year old son (biological dad, adoptive stepmom) has severe ADHD, no misdiagnosis here. When he first came to us he had been in behavioral therapy for over 3 years and was seeing a therapist (a sole practitioner that we were not happy with) weekly. Once we were given full custody and our son came to live with us we changed his therapist almost immediately which went over like a lead balloon and cost us dearly in court but none the less we knew we made the right decision and it was worth every dime. We also changed his school after a disastrous year last year. As of today he has achieved every therapy goal set for him and is now in maintenance only, about once every six weeks and he has not been in trouble even one time this school year, with his principal and teachers saying he is one of, if not the most respectful and most well behaved students on his team and in the school !!!! He also walked away from another boy who was trying to provoke him into a fight, reported by his teacher. We could not be prouder of him and everything he has worked so hard for. He has grown so much as a young man and student. We thank God every day for his most wonderful therapist Karan Kuretsch who has been so loving and caring to our son. She is just so down to earth and in tune with children ( it was also her suggestion to change his school and he loves school now). She has our overwhelming gratitude and highest recommendation. SHE HAS BEEN OUR MIRACLE WORKER !!!! *** just a note, she is now in practice at Prospect Behavioral here in Asheville, NC

My first vist i waited well past my appointment time by about 45 minutes finally got to talk with the doctor. We did not finish my history that day i was set another appointment to finish this and charged to do so as well. I go through all of this finish with my history i mention i have muscle issues do to my anxiety issues and ahe starts trying to push me to see the other doctor in house(come to find out its her husband). I said Id rather get the reason under control then treat that issue alone. I was expecting to leave and get my meds next day to try to see about reigning this in but i now cant. After telling her about the issues i have with doctors and how they just either are pill dispensers or just find more ways to milk me. What happens i cant go on these meds until i get a ekg which i was told that is normal practice for them but yet i was not told at the office? Sounds like another way for her to farm me to her husband to double dip. I canceled my appointment i have been suffering from my mental problems for years and i guess i will continue to do so on my own as this one was hard enough for me to do and talk to.

The Doctors and Therapists at this facility truly care about their patients. They are very attentive, caring and understanding. They accommodate to my schedule with their extended hours. You could not ask for better providers for your child or loved one.

Mr. & Mrs Trumbley, Karen, all the other staff have been great. They tend to what my boys needs are and very helpful in their care to help minimize the medications the boys need to help.
