I arranged to have a cleaning done the day before was told about the in house insurance at 275 i stated that i just want a cleaning no xrays i had already had panoramic xrays there a couple of weeks before they said no problem appt at 4. I show up for appt i was 10 mins late because of traffic checked in and about 15 mins later the girl informs me that i cant be seen because i was 10 minutes late i said well i will go elsewhere got to my car and said ill try again went in and said it was not explained to me that if i was 10 mins late the appointment would be cancelled so they said ok wait and we will get you in soooooo i waited an hour and 39 mins finally they call me back! Then the girl looks at my xray from previous visit and said we cant do your cleaning because you have bone loss you need a deep cleaning! I said how much is it and she went and tallied it up to a grand total of over 1000 dollars! I explained to her i just wanted a cleaning that was it was prepared to pay 275 was told 240 the previous day for just a cleaning no xrays etc.Well the manager comes in and says its unethical to just clean the teeth and not get the DEEP cleaning because it would do no good i explained that i had seen an oral surgeon who did a cat scan of all my teeth at UNC and said there was little bone loss and no need to worry it looked good for my age 51 there was no disease under the gums. Well that just didnt matter to this manager it was deep clean or the highway!!! So after a long discussion about ethics i left. This place is a upsell paradise they will push as many procedures as possible and if you dont want the deluxe treatment cause your on a budget or you dont have insurance all of a sudden its unethical to do a basic cleaning or whatever because that is just a band aid and a 1000 dollar plus procedure is the only thing that will work! All the years i have gone to doctors and dentist i have NEVER been through an experience like this! Buyer beware they are all about the up sale. Took my mother who has dementia there a week or 2 before and the lady that examined her kept sighing because my mom was telling her stories and kind of got off track telling the doc about her problem and then they came with an 8000 estimate of work they say she needed done. Beware this is a money making procedure factory they dont care about customer service or ethics in being honest lol you have been warned!!!! I was really an idiot to go back after the experience with my mom but i thought maybe it was just a bad day. They dont care if i dont come back or not like PT Barnum said theres a sucker born every minute!! So they dont care plenty of folks will line up for services no matter what im just one person with a horrible experience and im disposable there are plenty more mouths to take my place!

Where do I begin? On Sat, 8/20 I developed an abscess and was in a great deal of pain. I went to my dentist, who had recently sold his practice but they were closed. I was referred to Night & Day Dental by a friend of mine and all I can say is that when I walked in, I received the best customer service that I had ever received at a dental office. I was greeted by Crystal, who aided me and was very informative of the fees and my insurance. I was apprehensive, but then I was assisted by Stephanie, who was extremely knowledgeable in dental care and insurance/co-pays, and all. I cannot leave out Ivonne, who was helping other patients, but was kind to me as well. If I thought that was the end of the professionalism and kindness, I was greatly mistaken,. Katie, the dental assistant took me back to the room and was so nice and kind and very professional. She assured me that I was in very good hands and that everything would work out and be fine. She was right because after she took my x-rays, she went and got Dr. Natalie Jackson, who had the nicest and warmest bedside manner imaginable. She put me at ease and explained and advised what would be best for me. I have another appointment next week and am looking forward to returning to Night & Day (Durham). After reviewing the website, I was excited to see that there is a Raleigh location approximately 1/2 mile from where I will be moving to in November. Im willing to give them a try because of location, but if they arent as great as this office, I may just have to take the drive, because of the excellent service and care that I received at Night & Day Dental in Durham.

I manage a doctors office, so I can be very selective with the medical providers I take my family to. I am big on clean establishments and professional staff. We used this office in the past for a dental emergency my son had a little over a year ago. I was impressed with how efficient they were and overall enjoyed the service we received. However, we were already established with another dental office so I continued my familys dental care with our already established dentist. Recently, two of my children experienced very poor care at our previous dentist and I immediately chose to return to Night & Day Dental to fix the problem since the staff was friendly and very professional. I do not regret this decision. We never wait more than 5 minutes in the waiting room and all 3 of my children are treated and finished at the same time. I am always welcomed back into the procedure rooms with my children... Even when they get fillings!! No dentist ever allows that so I was amazed but more so appreciative as it is my responsibility to assure they have healthy teeth. Dr. Jowza is wonderful! She is very patient and thorough. They even have an orthodontist in the office named Dr Arbon who lived up to my high expectations. I highly recommend this office to everyone but especially to the parents who want to be involved in their childs dental care.

My mother called me in desperate need of seeing a dentist, and I immediately thought of Night & Day. Although I have never been seen there, the reviews had me convinced that this was the place for her. At 70 years old she is truly a coward when it comes to going to the dentist, her words not mines. Immediately after arriving the staff made her feel at ease, and the dental assistant C.C., told her she didnt know any cowards and that my mother was not one. After an x-ray and consult my mother was told she needed an extraction of the wisdom tooth that was causing here severe pain. Of course that sent her into panic mode again. Dr. Wright put her at ease and let her know the procedure would be quick and easy. After requesting my headphones to listen to music to get her through the procedure they numbed her up and got to work. Before the song she was listening to finished, the procedure was over and she was in disbelief. She told Dr. Wright he was amazing, and gave C.C. a hug before leaving. Needless to say, she will be returning for regular visits and cleanings. Thanks for taking care of my mom.
