I went to Lewisville Family Medicine to have an infection on my arm checked out. The physician was very personable and professional. A biopsy was taken and I was told that I would be informed of the results and we would go from there. Almost 3 weeks later, I had not heard anything, so I called their office. After being put on hold for about 15 minutes, I spoke to someone who took my name and date of birth. I waited another 10 minutes and someone else picked up and asked me if they could help me. I told them I was waiting for a reply. Several minutes later (total of almost half an hour now!) the original person spoke to me and said that I had a "sebaceous cyst that required further excision." I asked if I was supposed to have called to get this info. I asked if anything had been mailed to me (with these results). She said that someone should have called me. I said, "well, no one did," and she replied in a sharp tone, "well, do you want to set up an appointment or not?" Probably not.

I came in because I had issues with breathing -bronchitis. I came early to walk in Clinic after waiting for 1 hour they told me no one could see me but had to make a regular appointment because I was already there for the same problem a couple of days before that. Walk in would not take me. So I waited so I another 1-2 hours then I was told that doc couldnt see me because she had an emergency or something like that. I asked if a nurse could see me because I was having a hard time breathing, I was coughing etc. . My doc wasnt working that day. Loved my reg doc Lis but after that happened I just could not go back to the practice. I went straight to Urgent Care in WS,. They took care of me, put me on breathing machine, gave me mess and I got better. I Really liked my doc Dr.Lis but I just could not risk being treated like that if I have to go there when my doc is not working.

My family has been going to Lewisville Family for over two decades. I have only great things to say about their staff and doctors. Every time it is necessary to replace a doctor or staff member, it seems they always end up with a person with equal or greater experience and knowledge.
