About Smiles has an absolutely horrible and incompetent staff who have no idea how to efficiently run their office. They had the nerve to take $25 out of my bank account WITHOUT my consent when I missed my appointment because I was unable to get out of bed that day due to suffering from a flare-up caused by my chronic illness. They NEVER once bothered to inform me of their policy to charge their patients $25 if they miss an appointment for any reason, rather they thought they could quietly pull the wool over my eyes and get away with charging me. Karin, the office manager, was disgustingly passive aggressive with me and offered zero decent customer service when I called to discuss my concerns and disappointment. She was vile and completely disrespectful. I have never received such sickening customer service like this before. Speaking with Karin proved to me that theres a first for everything. About Smiles is a tacky, tasteless, and classless place to bring your business to, and Karin certainly emphasized this point when I was speaking with her. I would advise all potential new customers to steer clear of such a place. You will be disrespected as a patient, talked down to, be told "Well, Im sorry you feel that way," when bringing up genuine concerns about the service you are receiving, and cheated out of your money without your consent. DO NOT give your business to About Smiles Dental in Fargo. They simply do not deserve it.

I was apprehensive about going to a new dentist but it didnt take long for my hygienist to make me feel comfortable and even have me laughing. She didnt just tell me things I needed to be doing but helped me understand why exactly I needed to be doing them. Now I feel like my teeth are cleaner than ever and I look forward to my upcoming visits with her. After one visit my hygienist told me I needed to have a front tooth replaced. So we got scheduled for a replacement. Naturally I was nervous about changing a tooth so prominent in my smile. My tooth had been a little dark for years but I had grown accustomed to my less than perfect smile. When it came to the day of placement for my crown, Dr. Sampson had a look of worry. She told me the new tooth looked good but it wasnt a perfect match. (I probably would have been fine with it) But she insisted that we get it done perfectly. So we rescheduled for another tooth replacement. On my next visit, my new tooth was perfect. Now every time I smile I feel good and Im glad I have a dentist, hygienist, and office that wants that for me.

As a small business owner, who also works a 40 hour a week job, I really appreciate it when Im able to find a place that makes things Id prefer to not be doing...easy & completely painless. Yesterday I was at About Smiles to have my teeth cleaned & I was lucky to have that done by Stephanie again. Stephanie makes having your teeth cleaned seem like lounging at home...on the couch, I even dozed off a couple of times...when I was awake she was very informative. The entire staff makes you feel very welcome and seems to genuinely appreciate that you chose their facility, you dont get that feeling everywhere, so thats great, but Stephanie takes it a step further, to me, it felt like I was hanging out with a friend. I used to go years between cleanings...Id be fine with once a week...now that Ive found Stephanie and About Smiles!

Hygienist did an excellent job cleaning my teeth. No complaints there. Extremely thorough and polite throughout. Then the dentist comes in, pokes around for a minute, says some gibberish to the hygienist, and leaves. Next thing I know Im being handed an estimate to fill 4 cavities with no explanation as to why Im being asked to fill 4 cavities. I havent had a cavity in 20 years and this my first new dentist since my lifelong dentist retired. When I asked the hygienist to explain why I was being told to fill 4 cavities and to explain why they needed filling, she stated, "I dont know, Im not the doctor. Its on your x-rays". There was no personalization to the visit, no detailed explanation about what was happening to my teeth, and no opportunity to really ask questions. Will not be returning.

The lovely All About Smiles team makes the experience much like going to the spa. Its such a quiet, calm environment. The team is so thoughtful and kind and always remember me from visit to visit. I gush about their office to everyone when the subject of dentistry comes up in conversation. Since I was a child with a couple of bad experiences, I dreaded, to the point of anxiety attacks, going to the dentist. Now, I dont mind at all and look forward to an hour calm serenity. Never thought a dentists office could EVER make me feel like that!

I went in for my first root canel and I was really nervous, but it ended up being all in my head. I was was numbed and then I was told by the assistant during the procedure what Dr. Walker was doing. The complete process went extremely well without any pain during or after the procedure. Definitely recommending everyone to go to Dr. Walker for their dental needs. Thank you About Smiles for a great experience. Highly recommended!

I love About Smiles! Every time Ive gone there for a cleaning or any fillings done, theyve been so kind and helpful. I love that Dr. Sampson explains what shes doing as shes working, and shes very gentle. They have really convenient hours, as they are open on Saturdays and past 5, so its great for people with 8-5 jobs. Ive recommended them to a few of my friends and theyve all had great experiences as well!

The first appointment I made here had to be rescheduled after it was made, then the Dr apologized and made sure I could get in so I thought that was going to be a one time issue. Now my 4th appointment here.. I scheduled it 2 weeks out, and they called back saying that day was not going to work anymore. I will no longer be going here as I cant continue to work around late notice changes from my dentist.

I havent been to the dentist in a little over 10 years. The crew at About Smiles Dental made my visit back to the dentist very comfortable and relaxing. I hate going to the dentist but now I enjoy it very much!! They have free chapstick too when you check out which is a HUGE bonus!!
