I have been going to Dr. Brian Mathison for over 10 years now. I came to Fargo to go to College and had no idea who to choose for a dentist, and so after asking around, I was referred by a coworker, and that was the best decision I could have made. I now am married with three kids and all of them (except the baby, who will eventually be a patient) love going to him. Seriously, whos kids actually like going to the dentist?!? The staff is great, and I love Heidi and the other dental hygienists, they are all very professional and thorough. Lanae, the receptionist, is always so friendly and smiling. I would definitely recommend Dr. Brian Mathison to anyone that needs a great dentist.

My family has been going to Dr. Mathison since we moved here in 2010. I trust him completely with my families dental care. He is the best! He takes time to explain all procedures and makes my kids feel at ease for their cleanings and care. The staff is wonderful. Very helpful and friendly. Lynna is so friendly and has been EXTREMELY helpful with various insurance issues I have encountered and went above and beyond to help me resolve those issues. Highly recommend Dr. Mathison and his staff and I wouldnt go anywhere else.

Not thrilled...Went to him a year ago and he said I had 6 cavities, which was odd as Id had 1 in the previous 5 years. He wanted to charge me $255/cavity, nearly all to come out of pocket. I just went to another dentist and this one said I had 2 cavities. He said the left side of my mouth had 2-3 cavities. New dentist said left side looked great. Not sure how this could happen but would not go back again. That said he and is staff were very friendly.

i met dr. brian mathison when he was a young intern; i noticed and appreciated his polite, gentle reminders as he treated a tricky tooth. that was about 16 years ago. i followed him to his own practice, and have found each of his hygienists to be excellent. today that same old tricky tooth cracked under pressure, and he saw me immediately, and mapped out a treatment plan. big relief. i highly recommend his practice.

Im probably one of the worst dental patients anyone could have, and I would hate to be my dentist but Dr. Mathison is great and as much as I dread going to the dentist he makes the appointments as easy as possible for me and I would not go to anyone else. If it wasnt for him I would probably be getting dentures at the age of 26. He was recommended by a co-worker and Im very thankful for that!
