If Im being entirely honest I would NEVER recommend this establishment. As a matter of fact I would persuade people to go elsewhere even if its a longer drive AND more expensive. They tempt people with "no insurance? FREE examination and estimate", only to make their best attempt at price gouging you for every penny they can. I came in here for one reason and ONE reason only. I had a small chip on my left front tooth that was hardly even noticeable, but seeing it in the mirror every morning was bothersome so I decided HECK, how bad can it be? With a FREE estimate I suppose its at least worth checking out. I go in and they have someone doing all my X-Rays that admitted she had NEVER done it solo before and was doing so with no supervision what so ever. The first person that talked to me let it slip that a simple filling would be $279 with no insurance... "FANTASTIC", I thought. Until the dental hygienist came in and tried to convince me I needed ALL of my wisdom teeth pulled, had a mouth FULL of cavities, needed a "crown resurfaced", and some insane THREE DAY gum treatment and cleaning... Grand total: WELL OVER TWO THOUSAND DOLLARS!!! Lol keep in mind I have ZERO mouth pain what so ever at this point, white teeth, and perfectly healthy gums... however these people were attempting to make me believe I was some kind of three tooth meth head that needed complete dental reconstruction. Lol nice try! I refused and let them know I would ONLY like the procedure that I had originally come in for and Im perfectly 100% fine without the rest. They continued insisting otherwise until I told them I MAY return for the rest after obtaining proper dental insurance. Fast forward to my procedure date. I come in, pay my total immediately upon entering the building (for FILLING the minuscule front tooth chip ONLY) and wait to be called back and worked on. As soon as the actual dentist enters she seems distraught with the fact my bill is only $279 and rummages through paperwork before "going to check something"... comes back and is clearly aggravated and in a hurry for some odd reason. These are my TEETH for goodness sakes, whether I paid $5 or $5,000 I feel its extremely important to treat each and EVERY customer with proper care and respect... THAT is how you build and maintain a strong clientele base. So she RUSHES through the procedure and holds up a mirror, "is THAT okay?", the corner was filled but there was now a NEW chip in the OPPOSITE corner, as well as an OBVIOUSLY very thin area at the center of the tooth. Right around this time another one of the assistants enters the room to inform this woman she has someone on the phone to discuss an ongoing CASE (not an appointment) some sort of CASE that has evidently been filed against her. This is NOT a hair cut, these are the permanent fixtures we use to chew our food before digestion, I do NOT feel procedures like this are to be taken lightly and CERTAINLY not rushed! I bring these TWO areas to her attention and she seems irritated, but obliged. She then quickly hands me the mirror again, and thank goodness she actually DID fix what Id asked. The MOMENT I said that was better she says "have a nice day.", and abruptly leaves the room. No THIS ways the door and we thank you for your business, no HERES what to look out for with your new filled tooth, no be careful of this or that, no you may be sensitive here, nothing... just left. So I sit up a little confused and ask the assistant if Im free to go. She turns around only long enough to say "YEA... you GOOD.", so I get up out of the chair and begin trying to find my way back to the front door of the building, when I felt very uncomfortable with the lack of direction and went back to the assistant to at least ask a few questions. They seemed less than confident with the durability of the tooth so I felt the need to ask, "so whats the deal? Can I eat with this thing and use it normally or will that be a problem?" and her only response was "well I wouldnt be biting into apples or anything!" LOL gee thanks... $279 well spent??

Transferred from Aspen Dental in Miamisburg to the one in Middletown and was told that I was considered a new patient at that office and would need to see the dentist there for an exam; even though Aspen in Middletown easily pulled my dental records up online from Miamisburg. Aspen advertises; if folks have no insurance then no problem but can still receive FREE x-rays and exam. I was charged out of pocket even though I had insurance and who knows what Aspen submitted to my insurance carrier. Prior; I had my teeth cleaned there and informed the hygienist that a tooth which the Miamisburg office had filled twice was still problematic. The hygienist in Middletown scheduled me for a free repair (filling) @ the Middletown office. When I was called back one of the techs informed me that I may now need a root canal but my thoughts were Aspen should incur the costs since they were the ones to mess the tooth up to begin with. The tech said that I might need to go back to Miamisburg for the repair. When the dentist arrived to see me her thoughts were it was a completely different filling on the same tooth and since this filling wasnt performed by Aspen then I would be charged. The dentist also portrayed that she was in a bit of a hurry and would try to fit me in-very rude ! Mind you that I was previously scheduled for a repair on that tooth and secondly I informed Aspen that the tooth NEVER bothered me until they originally attempted to fill it twice in Miamisburg. I gave up and left and asked for my $45 back since Aspen in Middletown considered me a "new patient" the office manager said no that the dentist had performed a limited exam. Believe me folks the $45 is certainly not a life or death situation but most importantly is the credibility of Aspen dental in Middletown, Ohio which to me is NONE. Of all the dentists Ive been to over time I have never received this kind of treatment and one thing for certain is that the Aspen dental in Middletown will NEVER see me again

Dont bother! I went there yesterday because I had a toothache my regular dentist couldnt see me that day. What a mistake! They took 18 x-rays!!!! For a toothache!!!! Then the dentist proceeded to tell me and show me how the x-rays showed that I needed at least two crowns and two root canals, and that I have a cracked tooth! Really???? Like my regular dentist wouldnt have caught all that? So, I left and got in with Dr. Puccio at All About Smiles today. He took ONE x-ray and helped determine the tooth that was most likely causing the pain. He then did a simple procedure for $50 and scheduled me for follow up next week to see if anything else needs to be done. He assured me that my tooth is NOT cracked! Dont waste your time with Aspen Dental!!! They will suck your bank account dry rather than trying to help you at the least amount of cost possible. Go to All About Smiles instead!
