I AM GIVING 1 STAR BECAUSE I CANT GIVE ZERO. I had my previous dentist office send my xrays to BrightNow on a Fri. When I arrived for my appt on Mon, they did not have them and the girl at Brightnow who made my appt was not there. I waited over 45 min for them to finally take me. The staff was completely unfriendly and unhappy, which was the least of my issues with them. The waiting lobby was also extremely warm and uncomfortable to wait in for so longer. I mentioned it to someone and it was just laughed off. They originally told me I was just going in for an exam, but then they had an opening for a cleaning. Great, I got lucky. But this was the most painful cleaning Ive ever had. It was so bad that I could not eat when I got home that night. I took some pain killers and luckily the next day I was fine. I asked the hygienist during the cleaning why there was so much blood and she gave me some BS about puffiness and not much more. She made absolutely zero effort to clean my teeth without any pain and she offered NO apology for any bleeding. She didnt even offer me some mouth wash when we were finished to rinse out the blood. I didnt realize how bad it was until I got home and tried to eat. I just didnt want to because my mouth hurt too much. I am NOT GIVING the name of my female hygienist out of common courtesy for her. I included it in my review to the office, which is enough. But I am never going back to BrightNow. Its not worth the pain. There are plenty of other dentists in Centerville. I "switched" to Brightnow because they are in our network and take Metlife. I had been to Bellbrook family dentist and I would gladly go back and pay a few bucks even if they are not in our ins network just for the comfort of the office, the wonderful staff who smile! and the great hygienist who caused me absolutely no discomfort during my cleaning. Let me be perfectly clear, I am not trying to be hyperbolic in my review. Ive never had such a bad or painful experience at a dentist, even compared to when I had surgery to have wisdom teeth removed. The only Positive part of my experience was Dr Hamdan who was sincerely nice and made sure to answer my questions.

I just started with a new job in the area, and found this dentist in my insurance webpage. The office is essentially a store front in the Panera/Fazolis plaza. There are hardly any cars in front of this place, and now I know why. The dental assistants barely acknowledge your existence when you go in. Most of the assistants there are probably fresh college graduates - they chatter with each other a lot, and more than once, I felt like they were making fun of patients (myself included). The overall impression is that they are simply not professional. If you need any work done here, rest assured you will be forced to come back - they do everything in two parts. I needed a crown to be done, and although they could have taken the mold of my tooth to make the crown during my cleaning (which they didnt), they made me wear a plastic crown for 2 weeks while waiting for the crown to be made. When making the preparations for the crown, they somehow ended up cutting into my gums and I ended up rinsing 10+ times just to not see the red tinge in the water. Whats worse is that my insurance covers 1 cleaning per half year, but they recommended two cleanings (with a week in between), which (as explained to me) was actually two parts of one cleaning. They failed to let me know that actually, the two cleanings were two separate things, and I am now forced to foot the bill for both me and my wife. Scheduling here is easy, but thats because no one else wants to come here ever again. I will definitely recommend to my insurance company to not cover this place, as their work is horrible. I think the Urgent Care Dental is even better than this office.

If you want to go back and forth with your insurance and their billing, thus resulting in time loss and headaches, then this is the Dentist for you ! Telling a patient and their family that visits are covered, and then billing them 2 months later, AND THEN placing the fault on the patient is utterly unprofessional. What a shame, because the actual dentist is pretty good. I goes to show that a practice is truly represented by the clerical/desk staff. Which in this case is too bad. NEVER use for orthodontics. After getting my $$ they didnt even HAVE an orthodontist on staff. I will say Dr. Romick (eventually) coming in has been a saving grace for them, but we will absolutely use another provider for my other teens braces. Staff is a 5 out of 10 in basic courtesy and professionalism. Doesnt seem like they understand that there is competition for dental services. Higher standard is expected.. Perhaps they will monitor reviews and reach out to me for an amended review? Well see....

Checkin & checkout people were curteous only to the point of acknowledging my presence and taking my money. Only one of four dental assistants that I saw over the course of three trips there was nice, efficient, considerate, and not rough. The woman who does fillings truly sucks and is very rough; pinched gums, lips, and yes, even my tongue despite trying to keep it out of the way. The dentist is the only good "technician" person at that location but he smokes a lot and kept his face guard on his chin, not over his mouth and nose. The 2nd and 3rd trips were required to fix bad fillings from the first trip and to fix a broken tooth from the filling process! They cant handle kids either and they dont listen one bit to what the kids have to say about whether its numb or not.

I had just moved to the area and found this place on my insurance website. I went in, only having had one cavity my entire life, and was told I needed a root canal and possibly a second. They were, indeed, needed but the dentist screwed them up. My current dentist (who is a godsend) is flabbergasted as to what this guy did to my teeth - i now need four more fillings to fix things this guy did wrong. The dental assistants were worthless - my temporary filling for my root canal fell out FOUR times. My new dentist did it once and it has been in there two months with no issues. DO NOT go here - you will regret it (and so will your teeth). If only I could rate it zero stars.

My last experience made me scared to go to the dentist, so I put it off until someone recommended bright now to me. Im so glad I came here. Dr. Shah was so nice and Tammy, the dental assistant was very sweet and soft spoken and took her time with me. Dr. Lee did my root canal and he seemed very experienced and made me feel very comfortable. I live about 45 minutes away from this location, but will continue to come here because of the experience Ive had. The staff is very caring and kind and its appreciated more than anyone could understand with the experiences Ive had in the past.
