on a scale of 1-10 on fear of the dentist i was at a 50. i hadnt been to a dentist in over 20 years due to my fears. between years of abuse and neglect along with some genetics, my teeth were in horrible shape. i was too ashamed to smile for pictures at my own wedding. I needed 3 broken teeth surgically removed, gum contouring, a deep clean and a crown just to start off with. On my first visit it took me nearly 45 minutes to get the courage to make it in the elevator to go up to her office. Once i made it into the office Dr. Payas and her entire staff were extremely accommodating and reassuring. during the procedures i hardly felt a thing under conscious sedation. Dr. Payas did a great job and was very very gentle. The dental hygienist Angie was also very kind and gentle while doing the gum contouring and deep cleaning. I cant possibly say enough about how wonderful they are here. If your afraid of the dentist go see them. The sedation they used was just right. i felt very little and it left no terrible after effects. i was up and running later that evening with very minimal pain. Im going back tomorrow for a few fillings and a permanent crown, this time my fear level on a scale of 1-10 is about a 3. They genuinely care for their patients and it shows in everything they do. Dr. Payas has changed my life in a way i never though possible and im no longer afraid to smile. THANK YOU to Dr. Payas and all her staff who put up with my crazy anxiety!

Well where do I start. Ill start at the beginning. I was 19, a college student who had bad teeth. Ya, that guy. The one that always got fillings and never got a clean bill of health but my brother never had cavities. So annoying! Dr Payas changed my outlook on several levels. She didnt just repair, she fixed. She didnt just fix, she looked to the future and recommended a repair plan that would last MANY years and would keep me out of the chair. She calmed me. I hate dentists. She changed my mind. I love my dentist. Im 35 now. I have had my teeth cleaned only by her staff since then, and I am cavity free. (Dentures are amazing). Just joking, i dont have dentures. But I do have an amazing dentist. When you find someone that has changed you for the better, you never leave. ~Whistler.

Staff are friendly; office is nice. Dental work is horrible. Following Dr Payas work I could not chew on that tooth without pain. The crown never was properly fitted. After 3 years of pain I went to another dentist. As soon as I opened my mouth he said "Oh Dr Payas did that". He said her work resembles gluing lego blocks on your teeth -- no artistry. He has replaced her crowns for many patients. Having just spent $2,000 to redo her shoddy work prompted me to write this review. OBTW the new crown was perfect from day one. Stay away from Dr Payas.

I just love Dr. Payas and her staff; they have always been wonderful to me no matter the issue. I dont know how long ago I started seeing her, but shes fixed so many problems Ive lost count and shes always been patient and caring. Plus her staff is always happy to see me and remembers me and we have a good chat while Im waiting for her or Bonny. Its a great place. Ive had a few questionable experiences, but I know with Dr. Payas I can actually relax; its a nice feeling.

I love Dr Payas and her team! She did a front tooth veneer for me and my smile looks great. I work in the public and now I can smile and not hold my hand over my mouth. There is a lot to be said about that! I have referred all my family and friends and anyone else who wants the best dentist in town.
