DONT GO HERE. I went to this office a while back to get bumps on my legs looked at. The first doctor came in and just appeared to have no experience what so ever. Then finally Dr. Brune came in. In the five minutes that she actually saw me (5 minutes here is like $300 by the way), she was completely rude, dismissed all of my concerns in an aggressive and annoyed manor, and proceeded to tell me that I needed to take 600 mg of zinc every day for the next six months for my skin to get better. I began taking zinc and within two days, I was vomiting and showing signs of heavy metal overdose. I looked started looking around (like I admittedly, should have done earlier). People arent supposed to take more than 7-10 mg of zinc a day. Prolonged zinc exposure of six months at 600 mg would have left me with kidney failure and neurological damage. 1 g of zinc could have potentially killed someone my size. I called the office angry as hell and asked what dosage they wanted me to take of zinc was just to be sure. 600 mg alright. Dr. Brunes dermatology office should be shut down for malpractice.

1. Like so many other dermatologists, the waiting list is long. I was a new client. Took 3 months to get in. 2. Cancelled on me with a days notice and reschedule for a few weeks later. 3. Cancelled rescheduled second appointment on me. I had taken a day of work off to make the appointment and the cancellation was just a couple hours from the time and I did not get the message until I had left work . For me, that is just too much. Either the doctors life is in a shambles, or the schedule is too tight and they have to pair it down during the day, or there is some other form of incompetence going on there. Cancelling a client twice before that client ever gets to the office is bad form. I declined to reschedule again because a doctor that does not make me a priority from the beginning will not give me due priority to the mole I need checked out.

I went to Brune to have a growth on my arm checked out. Dr. Brune took a biopsy and kept telling me that she believed it was cancerous, not exactly comforting bedside manor. I was told I would be contacted regarding the results within a week. Ten days later I finally called them to find out if they had the results. Luckily the results were negative, but they had never bothered to let me know. After 2 months I went back because the open wound that had been created was not healing. I was told that this was normal and to not worry about it. A year later it has still not healed and I have decided to go to a REAL doctor of dermatology that is interested in patient care and not profit. Unless you are looking for overpriced face creams or want laser hair removal please consider one of the many other dermatologists around town!

After reading the other reviews hours before my first appointment, I was a bit braced for a negative experience. Dr Brune was booked months out ( I gather she is on the faculty at Western Oregon University), so I made an appointment with her physicians assistant Kelly OBrian for a routine sun damage check. The office staff took care of all the paperwork efficiently, were kind and helpful, and everything was on time. Kelly was highly attentive, spent time explaining different treatment options, answered all of my questions in great detail and generally was extremely helpful. All and all an excellent experience and I look forward to going back for follow-up. I would highly recommend seeing the physicians assistant, who handles everything but the more technical surgeries.

We have 3 kids all under the age of three. My lovely wife scrambled to get out the door early in the morning and had to wake up babies to make sure she got out the door on time. Once she was in the car she realized she needed gas. She stopped and got gas and was ten minutes late to our sons appointment (35 minute drive from where we live). Since she was ten minutes late they refused to see our little boy. Keep in mind that she has waited 30 minutes before in their waiting room for previous appointments on several occasions. This place is terrible and we will take our money and private insurance elsewhere. (I had to give it 1 star or they would not allow me to post).

I have not been pleased with the service that Dr. Brune gives. Procedures and treatment options were not explained up front so that an informed consent could be reached between myself and the physician. I have instead been unknowingly charged with excessive fees for elective procedures because this MD failed to explain to me my options. Charges always need to be discussed thoroughly particularly for benign skin lesions! The office management further frustrates this by their unwillingness to listen to grievances and failed to provide me with my options. I felt that I was treated very poorly by this medical team and I dont recommend them at this time.

Had a couple of moles removed by Dr. Brune over the past three years and several visits with teen child regarding acne. We never had to wait more than 5 or 10 minutes which is nothing compared to other specialists I have seen. Personal treatment was always extremely professional and cordial, lots of patience in trying to understand symptoms of condition from child and in explaining treatment and skin care routine. My mole removals were rather painless and healed fast as predicted. All in all my experience with this dermatologist has been excellent and I have recommended her to many friends (who are regular patients of hers now)

I am not happy with this office. I had a procedure in 8/13 and the insurance paid and then the office rebilled in 4/14 and received another payment, then 1/15 they billed the insurance company and now it is over one year and they tried to bill me. I called my insurance co. and they said I dont owe anything. As far as the doctor goes she is always in a hurry and charges a surgery for each skin problem removed even if it takes a few seconds. The bill is huge and you dont feel like you can ask a question because she is so quick. I will never go here again.

Went in for a freckle that was painful to the touch. Was seen for 5 minutes, given a pamphlet on sunscreen, sent on my way, and charged $200. When I tried to call to verify the bill, I left two messages and was finally called back the day my payment was due. The woman in billing left me a message with the wrong extension. Finally got patched through to her by reception and she didnt address any of my concerns about the bill. I ended up just paying it so I would never have to deal with them again. My freckle still hurts.

I have been a Brune MD patient for many years. I always am met with professional staff, Dr Brune herself is very thoughtful and through in diagnosis. Provides excellent follow up with texts and biopsies. The office is accessible if emergencies arise in a skin condition. And I appreciate the fact the staff is willing and interested in supporting fellow medical residents; experience and education for young professionals is best provided by excellent mentors such as Brune MD.
