Im writing this review with regards to issues Ive had with the receptionists who work for Dr. Donoho ---- I was very disappointed with the service that I received from a Tracy. Long story short: I had called to cancel an appointment and then rescheduled for the following week (to get a crown installed from a root canal). There was a miscommunication between myself and the receptionist, and we got our dates mixed up. I received a call 2 hours AFTER my scheduled appointment (the following week) from a Tracy (at Donohos office), notifying me that I had now missed 2 appointments and thus owed them $50.00 as an inconvenience fee. Before I was able to respond, Tracy took a harsh vocal tone with me saying that "we respect your time, and you should respect ours ... you will owe $50 to cover our inconveniences". Tracy absolutely refused to show leniency with this $50 charge, and began citing their policy ---- Apparently, after 2 absences, the patient has to call in the morning and see if there is an available time slot, but they cannot and will not book you, nor guarantee that time slot will stay open for you --- since they can no longer trust you to hold to your appointments. Im sorry --- but I am a professional with an incredibly busy schedule --- and simply can not just adjust my schedule the day of because my dentist wont allow me to book an appointment in advance --- NOT TO MENTION: The 2nd missed appointment was due to a miscommunication regarding our scheduled dates. It has now been over a month since I was scheduled to get my crown installed --- I have received no calls, or any other form of contact in regards to following up with the procedure and have been sitting with a cracked temporary crown. Attempts to schedule an appointment have been greeted with the same policy citations. I am highly disappointed with the interactions I have had with Dr. Donohos staff and hope they make efforts to remedy this situation. No complaints in regards to Dr. Donoho. He is a practiced dentist who will accomodate your needs and overall make your entire stay comfortable. The work he does speaks for itself ... no complaints with the actual professional who runs the business.

Ive never been the kind of person who was hesitant to go to the dentist, even fillings which may not be exactly pleasant have never bothered me that much. I liked Dr. Donoho and everyone on the staff that I interacted with, they were all very friendly. However, two days after my cleaning my gums are still aching and in extreme discomfort from being torn to shreds by the hygienist doing my cleaning, Ive never experienced this kind of extreme discomfort after the dentist before. Due to a move and life in general, it had been a couple of years since my last cleaning, so I had expected it to be a little rough. But this was well beyond that and I have a hard time believing that the pain Im still experiencing 48 hours later is just because I hadnt had my teeth cleaned in a while. Because I liked the staff and the doctor Ill give them another shot and go back in 6 months for my next cleaning, but if Im in anywhere near the level of discomfort after that one that I am right now I will be finding a new dentist.

The best dentist office I have ever visited. All the modern advantages to provide maximum efficiency and comfort. I am completely impressed. From the moment you walk into the comfortable modern office you feel at home. Friendly employees, a great waiting room complete with coffee and granola bars. They even give you change if you need it for the parking meters! Dr. Donoho is kind, funny and has a great bedside manner. For the first time in my life, I dont dread going to the dentist. Tereca who is one of the dental hygienists does a great job with cleanings and a highly recommend her. I liked the music and the place evens smelled good. Clean, friendly, and modern. Whats not to like. Nobody likes going to the dentist, but this was the best dentistry experience I have had. Give it a try.

Love that you all make the appointments so quick & easy. Truly the best dentist & staff ever. Im traveling for a year but I will make my way back to philly just for his care! Hes great at giving dental advice & explaining options. Love my gold crowns! Hes a dentist that believes in your overall health. He recommended vitamins & was clear about how that would help me. Hes honest about what you may expect in the future with the health of your teeth, gums, and bones. Even if things are hard to hear, he makes you feel that it will be ok. He doesnt judge you. Love this guy! Couldnt ask for better!

I couldnt be more pleased with Dr. Donoho and his practice. The doctor is competent, congenial and compassionate. The assistants and the business office staff are friendly and knowledgeable. And, the office is modern, well-kept, and run in an extraordinarily efficient manner. The atmosphere is actually relaxing, with TVs in each exam room, and even ceiling lighting fixtures with a "clouds in the sky" view. While going in for a dental procedure is rarely considered "enjoyable", this office comes as close to that as is conceivably possible.

As always, my visit today was thorough, professional and personable. The quality of my dental procedure was excellent. I am most satisfied with my visit and the attentive care given by Dr. Donoho and his staff, the hygienists and the office assistants. Once again my visit was outstanding. I was provided with an immediate and timely appointment. My treatment was thorough and resolved the issue. The staff provides a most welcoming environment. THE BEST DENTIST OFFICE EVER! All of the staff and Dr. Donoho are fantastic. Appointments are always on time and punctual, which is important for me and my busy schedule. This dentist office makes you feel relaxed and it has actually made my dental experience enjoyable! Also, their new appointment reminder system is the best -- they send emails and then a text message the morning of the appointment. No reason to be late or miss an appointment at this office - they go above and beyond to ensure that you make it on time.

Dr Donoho is a really nice professional guy. His bedside manner is really nice (yes, I know, hes only a dentist, but its still nice) and hell tell you whatever you wanna know about. His staff, from Karen to Terrica, is also a pleasure. Even his office is awesome. It lets in a ton of sunlight and doesnt smell like a dentists office. Theres granola bars in the lounge. Being right off of Lancaster Ave, its also easily gotten to via mass transit.

Have been a patient with Dr. Donohos office for at least three years and wouldnt go anywhere else in the Ardmore area. Staff is always friendly and courteous, appointments are always on time or ahead of schedule. The hygienists are friendly, professional, and each cleaning has always been thorough and quick. No one enjoys going to the dentist, but this office makes it as easy & efficient as possible. Nice to have the TVs in the room as well.
