The following is an e-mail I sent to Norwood Family Dental and all of their other locations. This is my review: "Hello. I just wanted to express my disappointment with your Norwood office. The staff is great, however, the service we received from Dr Dinesh Tewari was absolutely horrible. I brought my 3 children to your office for cleanings and was horrified at my experience. There were no tools (mirrors, picks etc.) used to check for cavities. Only eyesight was used. I was told my 10 year old son had two cavities after the Dr looked from about 2 feet away. My 6 year old had an abscess on her gums. X-rays were done and I was told it was due to her adult teeth growing in and it was of no concern. I was also told she had no cavities. My 4 year old was uncooperative during her cleaning. The Dr actually handed ME the toothbrush and told me to clean her teeth. I had no idea what I was doing and MAY have cleaned two teeth. I was also then handed floss to floss her teeth. I am NOT a dentist. I do not get paid your salary. At that point I just wanted to grab my kids and run for the door. I would not even call what you did a cleaning but I am sure you got paid from my insurance. Now I cant even get them a proper cleaning for another 6 months. I followed up with our regular dentist a week later. (I only switched due to the convenience of your late hours. MISTAKE). My son, didnt have any cavities. They are actually two deep stains at this point but are not cavities. I am sure you would have tried to drill and fix them without even checking further. My 6 year old with the abscess had to have 2 baby teeth pulled with bad roots that were causing the abscess. I am so glad I followed up or she may have gotten very sick if I relied on the info you gave me. She also had a cavity that you missed. I will be contacting my insurance company and probably the BBB. I believe this was malpractice and possibly fraud. Having me clean my childs teeth because she was unhappy is not acceptable. If you are going to treat children (I dont think you should touch a childs mouth), have the patience they need because they most likely wont want you in their mouth. How can you diagnose cavities without using a tool or mirror to look at the back teeth? I will be telling every person I know of my experience with your office. I am completely disgusted and mortified that you are practicing dental work and ANYONE let alone children. Your office should be shut down."

This place is a joke. I wish I could rate it 0 stars but sadly that is not yet possible so lets just pretend I rated it 0 stars. I went into this dentist for a cleaning. The people there are friendly. But, a few days later my teeth were still hurting from my cleaning. I decided to call them and ask why is my teeth still hurting. They said I can come in the next day and theyll check me out. So the next day they call me in the morning and tell me I can come in earlier because they werent busy. So I went in and I waited approximately 2 hours in the waiting room. Obviously they were busy so I dont know why they told me I could come in earlier. It was a complete waste of time. So then they checked out my teeth and told me they messed with my gums and that my gums were the cause of the pain. I was absolutely frustrated that they were the cause of the pain and they didnt seem to care in the least. So they suggested I take pills to ease the pain. I took the suggestion and when I got the pills and started taking them my wound didnt heal whatsoever. So I tried calling them the next day and they said that they would call me back later because they were busy at the moment. They never called me back. I do not suggest this place to any people who are considering finding a dentistry.

Im only giving this dentist two stars because the staff is nice but besides expierence wise I would give it a one . I went to norewood for a couple years and I definitely am not returning. More then once my fillings fell out on me. I went in to get my front teeth done because I had a cavity and asked the dentist if it will be noticible and she said "no Ill be working from the inside" , long be hold my front teeth were all fd**** up. I was so upset, and she didnt think she did anything wrong. I had a gap in my front teeth and the fillings on both sides were noticible and eventually fell out. You may think why did it take a couple years to not go back but I tried finding different dentists and it was hard so I stuck with them (Plus I was a minor and had no choice, considering I had no car). Finally I did find an amazing dentist, Aldan family dental and they did great working on fixing my teeth and helping me move forward on any work I need!

Last year I visited the Norwwod office and reviewed the working and equipment available for treatment and found to be in excellent condition and in sufficient quantity and quality. Dr.Tewari is a very kind hearted and and loving personality. He is dedicated to his profession and goes beyond to help his patients in need. I found many cases where he even helped the poor patients where they were unable to pay the doctors bill and were not sufficiently covered under the insurance. The only bad (or good) thing about Dr. Tewari is that he wont heed to the illegitimate demands by patients or anybody and work strictly in accordance with the best professional guidelines and Federal Laws. Some people may get annoyed whose such demands are not met. I earnestly recommend his " Norwood Family Dentistry" and wish him all the best in his profession.

I know there are lots of treatment clinic but the best ones are those where specialist understand your problem and comfort you psychologically relax and curement comes after that and then after you believe you are in a right place for right curement.... here i suggest this clinic comes in that zone where people understand you and comfort you through their curement as well as understand your state of mind what exactly you needed for your ailment .... so go for it because there are so many who cure your infirmity but understanding your ailment and provide you quick and better result i found here, they do believe removing your problem psychologically and physically.

I went to visit Dr Tewari for the first time earlier this year and had nothing but a great experience with this office. The staff is very professional and the dentist was very honest with my in helping me understand what follow-ups were necessary for me. Long story short, a lingering issue that I was unaware of was identified by the dentist and the referral they provided me out to get my root canal ultimately saved my tooth! This kind of trustworthy and caring provider is what I look for in my healthcare providers. I will be coming back to this office in the future.
