Horrible at scheduling. We have gone about 5 times and 3 out of those 5 times we got there on time and had to wait about 45 minutes to be seen. We traveled about 1.5 hours, so waiting that long on top of it wasnt entirely fun. He did help with the issues that I was having until the last time. He over books and I could tell he was rushed last visit. My hip and leg were getting better until that visit. He yanked my leg and made it worse. He hurried to get us in and out. So we rescheduled for 11 today so that I could address leg issue and have him fix it for me. When we arrived his receptionist said we were scheduled for 12. Someone wrote it in the book wrong. Well she huffed like it was our fault and had quite an attitude. She said she would fit us in anyway. My husband I were not happy with the way she treated us. My family member was along and she had the same vibe. They mischeduled and made us feel like we were at fault. We walked out. We gave Dr. Shoemaker a call. Basically in the nicest way he could he insinuated that we were pretty much wrong and shes the sweetest lady and has been his right hand girl for 20 years. Well if you havent seen the attitude that THREE PEOPLE saw plain as day, sorry. We wont be coming back. So if you have a lot of time to spare and dont mind attitude he can help. He knows his stuff. I just prefer to be treated with respect.

Dr. Shoemaker is an excellent chiropractor. My whole family has been going to him for many years for multiple issues and he has always helped relieve us. I know he is very busy with many appointments but once in the room with him he is there to listen to your complaints and make sure he addresses them all before your appointment is over. His office is also very accommodating in an emergency- I have been fit in that day or even once on his day off. He is kind and funny which makes you feel at ease in his office. Also many people are weary about seeing a chiropractor, but in my experience he has been the #1 Dr I see regularly. What other Drs office can you walk out of saying you instantly feel relief? He is never a Dr to push you to come back multiple times a week just for an adjustment. He isnt an idle Dr either, he is always learning about new techniques and therapies to try and releieve pain and help keeping you moving. Also he takes into consideration a patient is in pain and is gentle in his approach when needed. I would recommend him to anyone in the area. My insurance has just changed and he is no longer in network, but even so his out of pocket price is still reasonable considering how helpful he has been to me.

Dr. Shoemaker has really helped my back. Not only my my but my hips and knees. He doesnt want to make you a long term patient but wants to help you get better. Definitely recommend
